Hillsong Kids Can You Believe It? Songs of Truth

I received Hillsong Kids Can You Believe It? Songs of Truth in exchange for this review.

I love listening to all variety’s of music. I try and teach Charlie to keep a open mind and to listen to every genre of music as well. same thing. As soon as we confirmed we would be homeschooling Charlie  I made sure Music was one of the classes I would be teaching. David and I even discussed putting Charlie into type of Music class which hasn’t panned out.

Our love of Music has grown and we’ve been attending Musicals Charlie and I pick out.Attending the musicals has helped Charlie broaden the type of Music we listen to as a family.

This past weekend Charlie wasn’t feeling good and he asked me to bring him his boombox which we purchased for for Christmas a couple years ago.

Charlie turned on Classical Music because he wanted to listen to the instruments they were playing. As we were sitting next to each other I reminded Charlie that we had a new DVD we could watch.

David was at work and the DVD would allow Charlie and I to spend time together, Charlie asked me if I would go into his room and bring him the DVD.

At first we were just going to pick out a song or two to listen to from Hillsong Kids Can You Believe It? Songs of Truth?  Charlie and I looked through all the titles we couldn’t pick out just one song.

I went and made us lunch then Charlie and I sat down to listen to the whole DVD. Charlie and I enjoyed all the music and loved the songs that were on the DVD.

I asked Charlie which song was his favorite and he let me know he liked My Best Friend. I asked Charlie why he chose this song and Charlie said he chose it was because the Lord is his best friend.

If we didn’t have the Lord we wouldn’t be here. Then Charlie reached over and kissed me on the forehead and let me know how much he loved me.

I was so happy I was able to share Hillsong Kids Can You Believe It? Songs of Truth with Charlie and that the CD incorporates the Lord into the songs. I’m hoping Charlie will share Hillsong Kids Can You Believe It? Songs of Truth with his friends and tell them about God.

Later that afternoon Charlie’s friends came over to play and I heard music coming from Charlie’s room. Charlie was sharing Hillsong Kids Can You Believe It? Songs of Truth  with his friends and reminding them the Lord was there best friend.

Mom melt…  I was so happy to here of Charlie sharing the message of the Lord with his friends and his love of the new CD. Before the kids left they asked where they could purchase a copy of Hillsong Kids Can You Believe It? Songs of Truth from.

I can’t wait to purchase copies of Hillsong Kids Can You Believe It? Songs of Truth for my nieces and nephews. I want to teach them about the Lord and the sounds of good music.

Cover:

“Can You Believe It!? – Songs of Truth” is both a question and a challenge… a statement of gratitude to a loving God and an invitation to explore the very foundations of faith.

Classic songs like “My Best Friend”, “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)” and “What A Beautiful Name” brand new declarations of faith such as “As The World Shakes” & “Heaven Is Our Home”.

We pray that this collection of fun and vibrant songs, help children around the world to declare biblical truths about God’s love and grace for them.

Hillsong believes that teaching children to love God and others takes place in both the home and in the church. For this reason they seek to partner with parents (the greatest teachers of all!) and with church pastors and leaders, equipping them with great resources.

Through fun experiences, meaningful music and ministry that encourages kids to participate, Hillsong Kids presents Jesus Christ and His Church in a relevant way, creating moments which children will never forget.
