Homeschool Resource Saint Patrick’s Day Reading Books

As much as we were out and about yesterday and over by our bookstore I forgot to pick up a book on Saint Patricks Day. So this morning Charlie and I went shopping online on Amazon. Where we found a few books Charlie wants to read. Once David gets home I plan on having him and Charlie running up to the library to see if they have any of these books.

If not it looks like we will be visiting our local Book Store after we go and get our Eye Exams this afternoon. So as I begin to work on our lessons for tomorrow I am looking for Saint Patricks Day resource we can do. If you know where I can find some at Please leave me a comment. Especially if they are snacks we can make.

St. Patrick’s Day Hardcover – January 26, 2010

On St. Parick’s Day, come dance a jig with the students in the classroom ALA Booklist calls “a lively place.”

Today in Mrs. Madoff’s class we all wore something green to school. Kate played the fiddle and we danced to Irish music. Then we learned about St. Patrick and many Irish tales and traditions. Now we know why there are no snakes in Ireland. Not everyone in the school is all Irish like me, but we all can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day together!
