Homeschool Resources: Robotics

Charlie keeps saying he is bored and I’ve been looking for something new for Charlie to try out. I found this Robotics Class I am going to check out. As I was getting ready to visit the website I thought you might want to get your kids involved in Robotics and join the FREE Robotics Workshop online.

Robotics Workshop (In-person or Online) – Reserve your Spot

You and your kids are invited to attend a FREE robotics workshop (option to attend In-person or Online). Open to kids 6+ and parents/guardians. This is a great way to introduce your kids to the field of robotics and spark their curiosity, creativeness and ingenuity.

In this workshop, I will show kids different parts needed to build a robot and how to assemble parts of a robot. They will also learn about the robotics industry and how robots are used in everyday life. I will also show how to program a robot to bring it to life along with a demonstration of a fully functional robot.

Email RoboticsWorkshopForKids@gmail.com for more information.

NOTE: The In-person workshops are available in Indianapolis/Greenwood IN areaHowever, I am open to scheduling a workshop closer to you (within 50 miles of Greenwood, IN) if there are enough families.

Great for Kids 6 years and older who want to get started with Robotics.

Kids will:
* Learn basic concepts of robotics
* Learn about design & parts needed to build a robot
* Learn how to assemble a robot
* Learn how to program a robot
* Learn how to issue commands to bring the robot to life

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
