Homeschooling Wasn’t My First Choice

I would like to confess Homeschooling wasn’t my first choice. But with the trouble on the bus and kids bullying kids and signs being put on Charlies back make kids ask him questions no, child should ever had to answer.

Ready for school.

The teachers not helping Charlie the way they should and not keeping Charlie in his Special Classes. Then removing Charlie without checking with David or I.

My dad having Surgery I knew the Lord was preparing me for something but I didn’t know what. As I sit her and look back on that day back in October when David and Charlie returned from school.

I asked David why Charlie was home and David said I am done and so is Charlie. As of now Charlie is homeschooling full time. I remember I sat at the computer and thoughts h no, not again.

But I could hear a voice saying God doesn’t shut a door without opening a window and he is preparing your family for something. I would like to thank the Lord for having us start Homeschooling in October.

In our school we get to leave Campus and have lunch with David

Instead of waiting and facing everything parents are facing now. Homeschooling hasn’t been without trial and error. But I didn’t give up and now I know I can help others and I can only do that through the Lord.

As we prepare our home I talked to Charlie thins morning and asked Charlie what he wanted to do in the future regarding school since he is missing his friends.

Charlie said he would like to continue Homeschooling if I would help him find online classes he could take. Including a school like K-12. Or we might use Easy Peasy.

As of the moment our lives are in the Lords hands just like school because with this Virus no, one knows what is going to happen or when. I lay my fears at the Lords feet and I ask him to guide my family.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
