Before you ask why would you want to read a book written for black women and its because I don’t believe there any different from us. You can learn from everything as long as you keep a open mind just as I did when reading Own My Magic: Self-Talk for Black Women: Affirmations for Self-Care and Empowerment .

Once I finished reading the book I knew this would be the perfect Stocking Stuffer for Tara Todd and her daughter. Before I wrapped the book for them though I shared some of the stories with Charlie and David. Both of them enjoyed the book a lot and David let me know he would like to purchase copies of this book for the ladies in his office.

I love that this is a pocket size book we can slip in our pocket when running errands. In the front of the book are instructions explaining how to use this journal. I love how the book ask use questions and gives the reader room to fill the book out.

Own My Magic: Self-Talk for Black Women: Affirmations for Self-Care and Empowerment is the perfect Gift for any black women on your Christmas Gift Giving List. But I suggest you hurry and purchase this book because I wouldn’t be surprised they don’t see out.

If you know Oprah’s or how to get in touch with her I wish you would share Own My Magic: Self-Talk for Black Women: Affirmations for Self-Care and Empowerment with her because I believe this book should be on Oprah’s Must Read List.
