It’s a Second GRAMMY nomination for Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band: Los Fabulosos

Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band’s newest EP Los Fabulosos has received a GRAMMY nomination, one of five albums so honored in the Best Children’s Album category for the 65th GRAMMY Awards.
The 2023 GRAMMYs, officially known as the 65th GRAMMY Awards, will air live on Sunday, Feb. 5, from Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. The Children’s Album category will be announced at the GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony®, which will be streaming live at Grammy.com before the live telecast on CBS.

This collection of five extremely energetic and fun bilingual songs was originally released earlier this year on 8 Pound Gorilla Records.

Los Fabulosos is available from the  band’s websiteSpotifyAmazon and Apple Music. The lead track, “Ridiculous,” is all about slapstick, letting go of inhibitions and being yourself  “Elephant” talks about proper hydration, using pachyderms as the jumping-off point. “Elevator” tries to create a dance from being scrunched together in a tight space (something the pandemic made dangerous). The EP includes two versions of the bilingual Spanish-English “Me Gusta”: a simple percussion-guitars-vocals arrangement and a pop dance-party remix by Robert Elbach.

If you’re ready to be fabulous and silly, Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band is right there with you. Los Fabulosos.
