I don’t how Mondays are for you but for me Mondays often bring a long list of responsibilities, including fresh goals, and new opportunities. Sometimes they also bring worry, uncertainty, or exhaustion before the week has even begun. The beautiful thing about Monday is that God has already gone before us.
Before checking our to-do lists, answering emails, or tackling household chores, let’s spend a few quiet moments inviting Him into our week.
Monday Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of this brand-new Monday. Thank You for waking me this morning and filling my lungs with breath and my heart with hope.
As I begin this new week, help me trust You with every plan, every appointment, and every unexpected moment. Give me wisdom to make good decisions, patience with those around me, and kindness in every conversation.
When I feel overwhelmed, remind me that I never walk alone. Fill my heart with peace instead of worry, joy instead of fear, and faith instead of doubt.
Guide my steps today. Bless my family, friends, and everyone I meet. Let my words encourage others and may my life reflect Your love.
Help me work with excellence, love generously, forgive quickly, and remember that every new day is a gift from You.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24
May your Monday be filled with God’s peace, His strength, and countless reminders of His faithfulness.
Monday was a day for the books and I learned to be grateful and to have patience I didn’t even know I had so I needed this PRAYER more than you know.
