COPY WORK—
DAY 1–
How do we know
Which way to go?
Look at the magnet
and it will show.
DAY 2–
North, south, east or west,
For finding directions, it is the best.
DAY 3–
How does it work?
It’s as simple as can be.
The planet’s biggest magnet is itself, you see.
DAY 4–
The biggest, and most permanent magnet of all.
Compared to it, all others. are quite small.
DAY 5–
The wiped out all that they could find
Of beauty and strength and worth,
But they could not wipe out the Viking’s Wind,
That brings the ships from the North.
ACTIVITY #1
If you were a Pirate, what would your name be and why?
Activity #2
MAKE Your Pirate Flag
MORE Activities
In this lesson plan are resources I can’t wait for Charlie to check out. Along with Pirate resource page they set up for us with other bloggers who participated in the
Pirate Lesson Plans. I can’t wait to check these resources out. It will be fun to see what others are teaching there children.
The Snacks include
Pirate Booty and also
Pirate Ships. With David being off on Friday Charlie and I will be making these snacks and taking them down to Davids moms to have a party. I know Granny Sherry and Leslie will love what we make. They will enjoy a party as much as Charlie and me.
My Very Own Pirate Tale comes with
Bandanna and
Stickers which we can use to decorate our
Booty Bags. Or we can keep the
stickers and frame them to hang up in Charlie’s bedroom.
Don’t forget to join us for
Stop! Drop! & Read! To check out
How I Become A Pirate would be the perfect book for our
Stop! Drop! & Read! Challenge. If you want other books you can find them on Amazon.
I hope you enjoyed these Pirate Resources.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
