Love, Lilly: A Sweet & Clean Friends To Lovers Romantic Comedy (Love Always Book 1

He’s her best friend’s brother and completely out of her league…

Twenty-three-year-old Lilly is the quirky girl, the one with the c-c-curly hair. She’s always late, is rarely neat and does not have her life together. She will never be that girl, the one who gets the perfect guy. But hopefully, this is about to change. It is a new year and Lilly has made some resolutions to get her act together.

Her best friend’s brother Oliver is the reliable guy, the one who rescues Lilly from all of her disasters. He’s organised, makes lots of lists and has a strict five-year plan in place to get ahead in life. He never makes rash decisions, unless it relates to Lilly, and then he can’t seem to help himself.

With this in mind, it would seem that these two friends have little in common. Except perhaps a secret pining for each other that has gone unspoken for too long.

Can a weekend of fake dating convince Lilly and Oliver that they are actually perfect for each other? And that opposites really do attract, after all?

Fans of Sarah Adams and Emma St. Clair will love this sweet, friends-to-lovers romantic comedy that will make you laugh out loud and make you drool—over your new book boyfriend, Oliver. This is a clean, closed-door rom com which has lots of chemistry, but no explicit content.

Assistant to the Billionaire CEO: A Hot Romantic Comedy

She’s my best friend’s sister, and I’m her new boss.

There are three things I expect from a good assistant:
Punctuality, honesty, and trustworthiness.

She says she’s all that. Despite my reservations, I decide to give her a shot.

To my surprise, she’s not the nerdy girl I knew when we were young.
She follows my every command.
She wins over our clients.
She charms her colleagues.
Including me.

Our one-on-one “meetings” are getting hotter—by the copy machine, in the archive room, on top of my desk.
We’re putting on a show for the company security cameras, that’s for sure.

I’m determined to make her mine.
Until I catch her in my office with her hand in my secret drawer.
I can’t wait to hear what she has to say for herself.

Her job (and a happy ending for us) is on the line.
Warning: Read with caution (there’s a grump inside!). From USA Today Bestselling Author Jolie Day comes a new hot romantic comedy in her Kiss a Billionaire series. It’s a standalone romance about a grumpy alpha boss and his sun-shiny assistant. Don’t be late—you don’t want to get on his bad side.

From USA Today Best Selling Author comes a series that’s gone to the dogs…

Hi, I’m Chloe! I have a house, a best friend, and absolutely no idea how to say “no.”

You see, my elderly neighbor asked me to surrender her little dog named Theo to the animal shelter, and of course I agreed. But then Theo batted his big puppy dog eyes, and I became the reluctant owner of a dog. As if I need another man in my life.

With a sexy new neighbor named Brody to play havoc with my emotions, a creepy new neighbor named Rick, and my ex-boyfriend Jack snooping around, the men in my life seem to be multiplying, and I don’t need that kind of trouble. Add in an attempted dog snatching, a break in, a masked attacker, and a hit and run, my life is adding up to big problems.

But maybe with the help of my new neighbor, I can figure out why everyone wants Theo, and what key he holds to the whole mess. If I can do that, I may be able keep us all alive!

Killer Unleashed is the first cozy tale in The Westport Mysteries ~ Chloe series. If you like adorable dogs, suspenseful puzzles, and quirky characters, then you’ll adore this charming story.

Really Good, Actually: A Novel by Monica Heisey

NATIONAL BESTSELLER

“Very funny—think Bridget Jones meets ‘Broad City’. . . . Heisey is making a career out of guiding characters through the kinds of crises we can laugh at and sympathize with all at once, while upending enough rom-com tropes to keep things interesting.” – Bethanne Patrick, Los Angeles Times

“One of the most hilarious and barbed accounts of unexpectedly starting over I’ve ever read. . . . If you’ve ever felt lost and hoped that it was leading towards wisdom, Really Good, Actually is your novel.” — Stephanie Danler, New York Times bestselling author of Sweetbitter

Recommended by Los Angeles Times • Washington Post • GQ • Elle • Good Morning America • People • Guardian  The Times  E! News Online • The Globe and Mail • Toronto Star • The Week • New York Post • Shondaland • and many more!

A hilarious and painfully relatable debut novel about one woman’s messy search for joy and meaning in the wake of an unexpected breakup, from comedian, essayist, and award-winning screenwriter Monica Heisey

Maggie is fine. She’s doing really good, actually. Sure, she’s broke, her graduate thesis on something obscure is going nowhere, and her marriage only lasted 608 days, but at the ripe old age of twenty-nine, Maggie is determined to embrace her new life as a Surprisingly Young Divorcée™.

Now she has time to take up nine hobbies, eat hamburgers at 4 am, and “get back out there” sex-wise. With the support of her tough-loving academic advisor, Merris; her newly divorced friend, Amy; and her group chat (naturally), Maggie barrels through her first year of single life, intermittently dating, occasionally waking up on the floor and asking herself tough questions along the way.

Laugh-out-loud funny and filled with sharp observations, Really Good, Actually is a tender and bittersweet comedy that lays bare the uncertainties of modern love, friendship, and our search for that thing we like to call “happiness”. This is a remarkable debut from an unforgettable new voice in fiction.

B.F.F.: A Memoir of Friendship Lost and Found

From the author of Group, a New York Times bestseller and Reese’s Book Club Pick, comes a moving, heartwarming, and powerful memoir about Christie Tate’s lifelong struggle to sustain female friendship, and the friend who helps her find the human connection she seeks.

After more than a decade of dead-end dates and dysfunctional relationships, Christie Tate has reclaimed her voice and settled down. Her days of agonizing in group therapy over guys who won’t commit are over, the grueling emotional work required to attach to another person tucked neatly into the past.

Or so she thought. Weeks after giddily sharing stories of her new boyfriend at Saturday morning recovery meetings, Christie receives a gift from a friend. Meredith, twenty years older and always impeccably accessorized, gives Christie a box of holiday-themed scarves as well as a gentle suggestion: maybe now is the perfect time to examine why friendships give her trouble. “The work never ends, right?” she says with a wink.

Christie isn’t so sure, but she soon realizes that the feeling of “apartness” that has plagued her since childhood isn’t magically going away now that she’s in a healthy romantic relationship. With Meredith by her side, she embarks on a brutally honest exploration of her friendships past and present, sorting through the ways that debilitating shame and jealousy have kept the lasting bonds she craves out of reach—and how she can overcome a history of letting go too soon. But when Meredith becomes ill and Christie’s baggage threatens to muddy their final days, she’s forced to face her deepest fears in honor of the woman who finally showed her how to be a friend.

Poignant, laugh-out-loud funny, and emotionally satisfying, B.F.F. explores what happens when we finally break the habits that impair our ability to connect with others, and the ways that one life—however messy and imperfect—can change another.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
