Sea Life Park Hawaiʻi is turning 60, and every guest from over the years is invited to play a part in the party! The premier marine experience park, offering fun and educational experiences for the entire family, will host two easy ways for participants to share their favorite park memories and nostalgic moments.
Guests may direct-message the park on its official social media platforms with treasured stories and photos to be re-shared by the park online, or opt to mail-in or coordinate a park delivery of memorabilia for display in the park’s onsite Conservation Center. Park educators, longtime partners, associates, and staff will also be getting into the nostalgic spirit, helping to celebrate six decades of providing visitors with unique opportunities to gain a deeper appreciation for precious marine life and ecosystems, and to see conservation work firsthand.
Sea Life Park Hawaiʻi also welcomes the community to make all-new memories with daily tickets and annual passes available. Guests will want to get reacquainted with the park’s Honu and Seabird Conservation Programs (both born out of a community need shortly after the park’s opening), engage with rescued sea lions, observe sharks native to Hawaiʻi waters, have a splash with dolphins, and learn more about endangered monk seals with daily “Meet Kekoa” educational talks. Sea Life Park Hawaiʻi also offers enriching opportunities to connect with culture through onsite demonstrations and events, as well as the award-winning Aloha Kai Lū‘au, held in the park’s oceanside Makapu’u Meadows.
WHEN: The call for participantsrunsnow through January 31, 2025, as the park prepares for a wave of additional anniversary-related activities that are slated to rollout starting in February.
WHERE: To share online, connect with Sea Life Park Hawaiʻi on Facebook and Instagram (@sealifepark). To inquire about displays for the Conservation Center, contact Stephanie Herdt, Registrar, Sea Life Park, at stephanie.herdt@palaceentertainment.com
