Day #2 Song of the Day Challenge: Share a Song With A Number In the Title

For this morning’s challenge in the Day #2 Song of the Day Challenge: Share a Song With A Number In the Title. I thought about the prompt and I knew which song I wanted to share.

The song I chose is from when I was in high school that would be playing on the bus I would have to ride the home. Our bus driver would turn on the Radio and ask us which station we wanted to listen to.

Queen - Another One Bites the Dust (Official Video)

We would pick a Rock and Roll station because most of the kids liked ROck n Roll more than Country Music which wasn’t cool. Everyday before we would reach our home the song Another One Bites the Dust would come over the Radio.

All the students would clap and sing along. Hearing the song being played on the bus One Bites the Dust was one of my favorite times of going to school. I wish I could see my friends now as I miss them a lot.

I still listen to Another One Bites the Dust and my daughter loved this song just as much as I do. Not, only that David and Charlie do as well and they know the words and will sing along with me once Another One Bites the Dust comes on the Radio.

Lyrics

Oh, let’s go

Steve walks warily down the street
With the brim pulled way down low
Ain’t no sound but the sound of his feet,
Machine guns ready to go

Are you ready, hey, are you ready for this?
Are you hanging on the edge of your seat?
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
To the sound of the beat

Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey, I’m gonna get you, too
Another one bites the dust

How do you think I’m going to get along
Without you when you’re gone?
You took me for everything that I had
And kicked me out on my own

Are you happy, are you satisfied?
How long can you stand the heat?
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
To the sound of the beat

Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey, I’m gonna get you, too
Another one bites the dust

Hey
Oh take it
Bite the dust
Kinda dusty!
Hey
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust oww
Another one bites the dust hey hey
Another one bites the dust eh eh

Oh shoot out
There are plenty of ways that you can hurt a man
And bring him to the ground
You can beat him, you can cheat him
You can treat him bad and leave him when he’s down

But I’m ready, yes, I’m ready for you
I’m standing on my own two feet
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
Repeating to the sound of the beat oh yeah

Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey, I’m gonna get you, too
Another one bites the dust

Oh shoot out hey hey, all right
