Swagbucks From Points to Christmas: Week 1 Wrap-Up – Small Wins Still Count

I was reminded again this week not to make plans because when we do the LORD might have other things planned for us. That is what happened this week as I restarted Swagbucks and set goals so I could help with Christmas but everything I said didn’t happen.

I’m not giving up so come and join me on my journey for Swagbucks From Points to Christmas: Week 1 Wrap-Up – Small Wins Still Count. I officially made it through Week 1 and it is officially in the books. Thank the LORD for that as I PRAY for a better week this week.

As I said earlier this week didn’t go exactly how I imagined when I started this challenge. The surveys were hit or miss, and more than once I got kicked out after spending time trying to complete them. That part can feel discouraging when you’re trying to build something from scratch.

But even with the setbacks, I stayed consistent. Every day I completed the daily poll, checked off the daily tasks, and grabbed whatever points I could along the way. Some days were better than others, but I kept showing up instead of walking away.

By the end of the week, I finished with 11,418 Swagbucks points.

It’s not the big jump I was hoping for—but it’s still progress. And progress is what this challenge is about. What I’m learning is that Christmas savings like this aren’t built in big moments. They’re built in small, ordinary ones. A few minutes here, a few tasks there, and a decision not to quit when it doesn’t go smoothly.

I may not be where I wanted to be after Week 1, but I am closer than I was when I started. And that matters. This is only the beginning. Next week brings another chance to keep building, keep trying, and keep stacking small wins that will hopefully add up by Christmas. God willing and the creek don’t rise by the end of the week I will have 12,000 points. Week 2, I’m coming for you. I’m taking no, prisoners but like the Whammy I’m going to take your points.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
