Charlie surprised me this morning when I went into the living room. I found Charlie sitting on the couch reading The Beginner’s Guide to Friendship Bracelets. I asked Charlie what he was doing. Charlie said I want to learn how to make Friendship Bracelets to give out at Christmas.

I listened to Charlie and I let Charlie know we could make the bracelets in our Homeschool Art Class. As well as take a Field Trip to Michaels or Joann’s to purchase the supplies we would need. Charlie said mom why not go to Walmart which would have the supplies we need and they might be cheaper. A boy after my own heart.

David’s mom Sherry heard Charlie and I talking and said she would be happy to purchase us a kit to make Friendship bracelets with. Charlie surprised me when he told Granny Sherry Thank you, but I would rather use this book because not only is it Art but a reading class for me.

Charlie also said having The Beginner’s Guide to Friendship Bracelets allows me and mom to spend one one time with my mom. I loved hearing this from Charlie and I almost melted on the spot. This evening Charlie and I sat down and begin to read what the different types of bracelets are. Including String Types. Charlie and I made a list of who we wanted to make a bracelet for and which style and what supplies we would need.

I love how careful Charlie was at making the notes we would need and I enjoyed watching Charlie refer to The Beginner’s Guide to Friendship Bracelets. I haven’t see anything capture Charlie’s attention this much in a while. All I can say is thank the LORD for bringing The Beginner’s Guide to Friendship Bracelets into our lives.

The Beginner’s Guide to Friendship Bracelets even lets us know what tools we need. I can purchase for Charlie for Christmas or his Birthday. Or David could purchase the tools for Charlie and I as part of our School Supplies Wish List. If your a teacher and your looking for new crafts to do with your students you should check out The Beginner’s Guide to Friendship Bracelets.
