THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY

I know there were worse things to miss during Covid-19 and the PANDEMIC than seeing a movie. For my family movies were at the top of my family’s wish list. I kept PRAYING and waiting until we could return to the Theater.

I use movies in Homeschooling because they help me forget my problems for a while. As well as keep Charlie and I from slipping into a depression. If I could I would visit Alamo Drafthouse daily I would.

My hopes and dreams came true this week when Alamo Drafthouse opened up. We were invited to a screening for The Broken Hearts Gallery. I had seen the trailer for the movie on TV but wasn’t sure if I wanted to watch it or not.

God had other plans for our family the evening of the screening David had to work. I didn’t think I would be able to watch THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY but they sent me a link to watch the film online.

I got up that morning at 5:30 grabbed a cup of Hot Chocolate. It was too darn early for Popcorn and Chocolate which we all know we need when watching a movie. But having them wouldn’t have been the same as being at Alamo Drafthouse.

Everyone was sleeping including the dogs. I turned on the computer and turned THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY on. The movie begins to play I could tell I would enjoy the movie a lot.

David gets up and comes into my office and he wants to talk. I ignore him because I can’t miss anything in THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY. Are you like that when watching a movie?

My mother-in-law calls and needs help. David says we need to go down to her home. I tell David there is the door you can go. I have to finish watching the movie because they are my friends, and they need me. When in truth I needed them.

I laughed, I cried and I wouldn’t even pause THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY to go to the restroom. This move had me tied to my seat nothing or no one was going to stop me from watching all of the show.

David and I’ve been trying to have a Date Night for a while. I would like for David to bring me to the Alamo Drafthouse for dinner, a drink and to watch THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY again on the big screen.

This movie can be watched by families there is nothing really bad in the movie, but you would need to use your judgement as there was one scene with a couple in bed in bed which any worse than what they see and hear on TV and Video Games.

For a mom raising a Pre-Teen boy Charlie will learn the right and wrong way to break up with someone and how girls keep things guys give them by watching THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY. Preparing him for dating.

For the longest time I had all the letters David ever wrote to me when we were dating in High School.. If I had known we would’ve gotten back together I would have kept the letters.

Fortunately I didn’t have anything from any of my past relationships to add to the wall but I wish I had. It would would have been fun to visit the Hotel with my Girl Friends.

Let me tell you there are twists and turns in the film you will not expect. Bring Tissues with you and your best friends as you will want to stay up all night talking about the movie and your past relationships.

Here is two tips for you one the movie is over: Be prepared to call your mom and to play Monopoly with your best friends. Make sure you have Popcorn and your favorite Alcoholic Beverage on hand.

If you will excuse me I’m off to call my girl friends and my step daughter. I would like to see if they would go watch The Broken Hearts Gallery with me. Who says you only need to see this movie once. It’s that good and a perfect movie to add to my home library.

When Charlie is watching THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY even though he would tag it a Girly Movie there is music and Art tt we see in the film especially the opening scene Charlie can use in our Homeschooling Art Class.

I don’t want to give away what you will see in THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY but there were Master Lock and a Fish be watching to see what we study about these items.

If you see THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY please come back and let me know what else Charlie could study and why.
