The Cornerstone Challenge Day Eleven: Content that Changes a Long-Held Belief

In this morning’s prompt for The Cornerstone Challenge Day Eleven: Content that Changes a Long-Held Belief I knew there would be a lot we could share but as I thought about the prompt I wanted to remind everyone Homeschooling isn’t as hard as it might seem.

More and more parents are thinking about starting with Covbid-19 and our children having to wear mask as school. Including my niece Alyssa and my nephew David who are sending there children to Virtual School.

Just look around you and you can find resources anywhere that you look. From the kitchen when your cooking dinner to the clothes your washing during the week.

Or going for a walk or playing Board Games each of these are learning opportunities. Even movie nights can teach children if you think ahead and put together questions to ask your children.

Spelling words, Vocabulary and even Art Lessons. Now, I would like to ask you what’s holding you back from teaching your children? Because if I can do it then anyone can.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates

  1. It looks like Charlie is doing so much more at homeschooling than regular classrooms! There is so much to learn and I think there are more opportunities with home school Don’t forget about the paint chip scavenger hunt!

  2. so true.. while i don’t homeschool, the kids turn to me for any help they need with schoolwork and if i don’t know the answer, i know how to find it for them 🙂
