With Christmas knocking at our doors, I thought I would share with you something about my daughter. Since she is in Heaven and not able to attend Christmas with me. She was blessed to be able to spend Christmas in New York when she was 12 and she fell in love with the city and the people.
One of mine and Suzzanes dreams for us to go back together. Although I wasn’t able to take her as she was killed before we could save the money up to take a trip to the Big Apple. Although having this new sponsor in the Gift Guide its like she is here with us. As I can purchase items she would have wanted.
I wanted to share with you the following items from the store as there is so many on this list that I knew she would like. Which I thought would look nice in the trailer. Or they would be a new and unusual Gift for me to pick out for David and Charlie. Or even my sister and nephew who miss Suzzane just as much as I do.
Now I would like to let you know I was truly Blessed when The New York Times Store contacted me to host a review for them as it meant I would be able to pick out some items from there store for myself. Although I was nice and the Gifts I picked out were for David and for Charlie. Although in the future I will be returning to pick something out for myself.
Here are some of the items you will find on their website and as for us I chose the Pin Your Journey Map and I titled it Cates dreams as I can use it as we homeschool Charlie as we can pin the places we would like to visit and if we do visit any of them we can pin them in a different color. As this will become a keepsake Charlie will be able to hand down to his own children.
- For the beer enthusiast – a personalized beer tub: ($84.95) as David loves his beer and we have a bar where he is always putting items on it and it ends up looking cluttered I hope with this personalized beer tub that he will do better about keeping the bar clean and neat. As the bar is one of the first things you see when you walk into our home.
