Welcome to Day 7 of the Ultimate Blog Challenge where we write one post a day. Then share it on the website the owner has created after visiting the two blogs in front of us. I haven’t been doing that even though I should I’ve just been doing the challenge for myself because its less stressful.
Today feels different — lighter, clearer, like the kind of morning where the sun shows up early just to cheer you on. Maybe it’s the sleep I finally got. Maybe it’s Milo’s Tea. Maybe it’s God whispering, “Let’s try again.” Which I needed more than you know. How about you?
Either way, Day 7 of the Ultimate Blog Challenge feels like a reset button.
One thing I love about this challenge is that every day stands alone. You don’t have to carry yesterday’s overwhelm into today’s assignment. You don’t have to drag guilt behind you like a suitcase with a broken wheel.
Today is its own story.
🌤️ Why Fresh Starts Matter
Fresh starts give us:
- Permission to breathe
- Space to think
- Courage to try again
- Freedom from yesterday’s expectations
As moms, creators, and humans trying to juggle 47 things at once, we forget that we’re allowed to begin again. We think we have to earn it. But grace doesn’t work that way.
📝 What I’m Focusing on Today
- Writing with intention, not pressure
- Letting my real life shape my words
- Keeping my pace, not someone else’s
- Remembering that consistency is built one day at a time
🪑 Porch-Truth Moment
You don’t need a perfect plan to start fresh. You just need a willing heart and a little courage.
And if today is the day you jump back into the challenge — welcome. Your seat on the porch is still warm and we would be happy to have our friend back.
Thank you
