The Statler- Fair Play

#MediaEvent

Charlie, David and I attended The Statler- Fair Play last night in Dallas, Texas. With parenting being thrown into teaching our children. Fair Play offers many opportunities for Homeschooling our children.

For those of you that doesn’t know what The Statler- Fair Play is it’s a fully immersive and interactive experience to pay homage to the State Fair. All that was missing was Big Tex.

There is fair-inspired menus for DFW Restaurant Week, from Corny Dogs to Cheetos Avocado Fries and Steak Fingers and Fries. Which David, Charlie and I was able to taste and they were wonderful.

There is life-size interactive fair-themed art installations and full sensory experiences in the Statler Ballroom including a statue of Elvis made from Butter.

Charlie and I enjoyed learning how much butter it took to make the Statue. Charlie and I enjoyed the animals and wished they were real so we could pet them but the ones they had didn’t have to be cleaned up after which was wonderful.

Downstairs in the Scout is the ultimate gaming experience in the property’s restaurant. This is a socially distanced, safe outing and just the “new-normal” feel we need.

We were able to play Pool, Horseshoes Putt Put and even Donkey Kong or Man. Charlie and I cant wait to return and spend the night here to go back through the even at there is so many Lessons we will be able to use in our classes as well as playing the games for PE.

David even said there were a Mural with a Music star we need to see and Charlie can use this gentleman in our Music Class but he wouldn’t tell us who as he wants us to come back.

I also want to come back to try more of the foods sold during the event as the night we went went was Tex-Fare. David saw a Funnel Cake Hamburger he is wanting to try, Charlie wants to try the Hot Cheetos.

Spending the night we would be able to Swim, check out the old cars in front of the Hotel. Charlie and I can listen to the Elevator Music. Did you know the Statler was the first hotel to feature music in the elevator?

I know I want o check out the restaurants as I saw several of them and also the Gift Shop while the guys play Pool in the Scout. If I can I plan on inviting a couple girlfriends to visit Fair Play- at the Statler with me as I know they will have fun taking photos.

I just need to remind them to make faces and dance around as that makes the photos more fun and to download them using the QR codes they are given which is what my family did.

If the men wanted to do a Guys Night Out they would enjoy visiting the Bar before entering Fair Play andif truth is none so would the ladies. Especially if they had the drink I had which came with a side of Popcorn.
