The Stoic Fable Book: 100 Bedtime Tales to Help Kids be Kind, Resilient and Happy

Stoic Simple Press, the publisher of several popular children’s books about philosophy, has announced that its next book will be published free to read and listen to on its website. Every day, a new fully-narrated chapter of The Stoic Fable Book will go live for parents to share with their kids

The Stoic Fable Book is a collection of beautiful little stories that introduce children to the elegant lessons of Stoicism, a philosophy that can help us live happier, more meaningful lives.

Each fable is followed by information for parents about which Stoic quote the story illustrates — with insightful lessons from ancient philosophers like Marcus AureliusEpictetus and Seneca.

The Stoic Fable Book is free to read on our website, and each story includes a narration that you can listen to with your kids. We publish a new Stoic fable every day!

Charlie and I will be listening to Creating Things and Caring for Others: When Groundhog saw Rabbit struggling to dig a burrow in the meadow, he stopped his own work and went to help.
