Yes, you heard me right this is the post for day 3. Before you say I thought you was going to post one post a day. Well I was although I forgot to let the LORD in on my plans. Last week Charlie and David had caught a bug. Because I didn’t catch it I thought I was out of the woods. Although that wasn’t the case
On Wednesday night David took me out to dinner at a new restaurant in Haltom City. Which I had been waiting forever to open. Now, I am not saying I ended up with Food Poisoning but David thinks I did. All I know is I was working on Thursday when all of a sudden I got cold and couldn’t get warm.
I drug myself to the couch and the next thing I know was Charlie come running into the living room asking me if I was okay. Charlie heard me throwing up. I was so BLESSED that Charlie was out of school. As he took care of me. Including staying up with me for 24 hours to make sure I didn’t need anything.
Friday morning I was beginning to feel a bit better but still just wanted to sleep. Which is what I did all that day. Needless to say I didn’t get online at all either Thursday or Friday. Saturday I was ready to get back to work but with Charlie returning to school on Tuesday I spent the day with Charlie watching movies and YouTube Videos.
Once David got home from work I asked Charlie if he wanted to go to the movies since we hadn’t been able to spend much time together. we went out to see Ralph Breaks The Internet and David took us to dinner to Boomer Jacks. By the time I got home even though I wanted to work on the blog there was a Hallmark movie I wanted to watch.
I was tired so I went and grabbed my blanket and my pillow and climber onto the couch and watched the movie with David and Charlie. Once it was over I was going to work. But I was tired so I rested the rest of the evening and now, I am here playing catch up. Because with the Ultimate Blog Challenge we are allowed to do that.
Here is the prompt for Day #3
After the way Charlie took care of me when I was sick. Who else would I chose to write about other than my wonderful, kind caring son. I love his compassion with children and people. I can’t wait to see where life brings Charlie. As well as the lady he marries because I can tell you she is going to be spoiled rotten.
As this is how he treats me. I wish I could say he turned out this way because of me. Although I can’t I must give credit to his father. Because David is the same way. If you needed the last dime David had he would give it to you and then figure out how to get you more. All I can say is I am BLESSED the LORD brought these men into my life. I can never thank him enough.
