Ultimate Blog Challenge January 11th Day #11

This mornings prompt was to look around our home and to grab a magazine and to write down the titles and to change them out with keywords that pertain to our business or our life. At one time you couldn’t walk into my home for all the books and magazines I had stacked on every single space.

Although I have gotten rid of all the magazines and I haven’t been purchasing magazines because I wanted to clear the clutter in our home. To do that I knew when something came in if I was using it within the week it needed to go into the trash. I even asked David not to bring magazines home from work.

With nothing to read when I wasn’t working I knew I would be more willing to get up and move. As well as have a cleaner more organized home I wasn’t ashamed to have people come to visit us. So unless I go to the story and copy titles from magazines of purchase some that I know I wouldn’t read right away as I have other more pressing projects I decided to ask you if you have magazines in your home?

If so would you come and share one or two titles with me and I can do a post on the titles you leave me. Or I could get up and head to the library which I haven’t been to in a while. Although it’s raining and I didn’t want to get outside unless I just have to. Which means I will not get my steps in again.

I am telling you I am flunking this month’s challenge and also walking everyday. Even though David was kind enough to get my Treadmill out for me and it’s right behind me. I have been to lazy to get on it and walk. But what can I say as I have been eating all kinds of food I know I shouldn’t.

New Year… New Me.. Not so much.

But there is time to change.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates

  1. Hi, the post following yours on the Ultimate Blog Challenge was about getting the movement thing done.
Seems like magazines are counterproductive when it comes to exercise unless you are able to read them while exercising. If you can, you may not be exercising with the required vigour.
I stopped buying magazines about 20 years ago. They only contributed to the energy I burnt by moving them around, from house to house and within the house. Isn’t it amazing how much energy is wasted in the clutter?
Most of the magazines were never read. Now I can find the up to date information online when I need it.
When there is a blog challenge going on, I have lots of interesting stuff to read and comment on.
Blog on! You can get ‘er done.
