Ultimate Blog Challenge January 2nd, 2023 Day 2 #UBC

Welcome to the Ultimate Blog Challenge January 2nd 2022 Day 2 #UBC. The first Monday of 2022. I wish you a wonderful New year were all of your hopes and dreams come true. If there is anything I can help you with let me know.

In the meantime for the Ultimate Blog Challenge this morning’s post asked us to share more on the  ‘Introduction’ theme. I would like to suggest that you let people know how you got started in your niche or market.

For me my blog became a way to stay home with my son who was a newborn. My husband and I had discussed me staying home the first year Charlie was born. When Charlie turned one I would need to return to work.

That first year I didn’t think about working at all. I was enjoying being a mom. Being at home with my son and our dogs was the most wonderful thing I could do. I didn’t have this option when Suzzane was born and I missed out on a lot of first.

In the blink of an eye Charlie turned one. I had to make good on my promise to my husband. I needed to look for work and a Day Car for Charlie. Before I knew it I found myself online searching for a job I could do from home.

I started to explore Direct Sales Companies but couldn’t find anything. Then I asked a friend what she was doing. She let me know she was a blogger. I had no, clue what that was but begin to research it. The more I learned the more I knew I wanted to try.

Here we are 15 years later and I conduct reviews and giveaways. I attend events and I am home with my son each and every day. I am able to Homeschool my son. As well as make money to help supplement our income.

I can say this BLOG has totally changed and enhanced my life and its something I would like to teach Charlie. Along with Photography so he can start his own business and when he is 16 he wouldn’t have to look for a job either.

Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates

  1. It is so great that you get to do something you really enjoy and spend time with your family at the same time! I became an outdoor journalist seven years ago and have never looked back. There is truly something great about finding the perfect niche for yourself. Congratulations and thanks for sharing!

    1. I shared what you do with my son who is going to research it as he likes to be outside and take pictures. Which works well with Homeschooling,
