Umbo Functional Mushroom Bar - The Mommies Reviews

This is a review for Umbo Functional Mushroom Bar who sent me three of there Honey Walnut Pecan Bars.

I will confess neither Charlie or I like Mushrooms. David loves them and would eat them in everything he eats if he could. Which is why I was excited for David to try out Umbo Functional Mushroom Bar. Remember moms have to pick the battles they want to partake in with there children.

I knew if I told Charlie what Umbo Functional Mushroom Bar was called he wouldn’t try them. Instead when the guys were playing Basketball I fixed a plate of snacks and cup up one of the bars for them to try.

I tool everything outside and with there drinks. Then I came back inside to clean the mess up. As I did there was a couple bits of the bar left. I tried it and was surprised to find it a tad sweet. I could taste the Nuts and if I hadn’t known there were Mushrooms inside the Bar I wouldn’t have guessed it.

I liked the flavor of these more than the Energy Bars Charlie and David usually eat. When the guys came inside I asked how they liked there snacks and they let me know they were good. As the day progressed I showed them what all was on the plate.

Including the label for Umbo Functional Mushroom Bar. I wish you could have seen Charlie’s face when he sad mom you feed me Mushrooms are you trying to kill me. I just started laughing. I asked Charlie before you knew they had Mushrooms in them did you like the taste?

Charlie said yes, I did but mom you shouldn’t trick me it isn’t nice. Then I asked Charlie if I showed you the bar and said this has Mushrooms would you have tried it. Charlie said no, I don’t like Mushrooms you know that.

Then I reminded Charlie what he said earlier about liking them. Charlie said awww a teaching moment and I said yes, for me and you both. I actually was surprised but I liked them as well and would purchase more of them for my lunch.

Charlie walked away and I went back to work. David walked up and said if you are going to order more would you order me some for work. As David said this Charlie said mom I will take two of the bars as well. Which showed me Charlie liked them as well.
