UniverSoul “hip hop under the Big Top” Circus kicks off with a sneak peek for the Media tonight and marching band festivities for Thursday’s opening night. My family is so exciting as we will be attending Thursday night (Feb. 23) under the Big Top at Red Bird Mall at 6:45 p.m.

 UniverSoul officially launches with all kinds of fanfare under the Big Top at Red Bird Mall – including the 85-member marching band from Dallas ISD’s David W. Carter High School who will perform outside as guests arrive and then march into the center ring. Dallas City Councilmember Tennell Atkins and the Reverend Tommy Brown, president of the Dallas Baptist Minister Union, will serve as guest ringmasters.

WHAT:  Described as “hip hop under the Big Top,” UniverSoul Circus is coming to Dallas this week with jaw-dropping stunts and acrobats, aerodynamic aerialists, fire breathers, stilt dancers and the ultimate pageantry and flair! The critically acclaimed circus offers a show-stopping cultural celebration of global acts, urban music, dance and laughter, all infused with Soul’s spirit, style and swagger.

Two special nights are planned to kick off UniverSoul’s run

  • Tonight (Wednesday, Feb. 22) at 6:15 p.m. Circus performers will provide a sneak peek at the Nash-Davis Recreation Center
  • Thursday night (Feb. 23) under the Big Top at Red Bird Mall at 6:45 p.m. UniverSoul officially launches with all kinds of fanfare under the Big Top at Red Bird Mall – including the 85-member marching band from Dallas ISD’s David W.
