On November 18, 1928, the world’s most famous Mouse made his very first public debut. Spelling:
Monday write your Spelling words 5 times each in your Spelling Journal in ABC order
Tuesday:
Write your Spelling words in your Spelling Journal and include a definition for each word in your Spelling Journal.
Wednesday:
Use your Spelling words in a story you create and include a illustration for your story in your Spelling Journal.
Or use your Spelling words in Sentences.
Thursday:
Take a Pre-Spelling Test write any words you miss 5 times each in your Spelling Journal.
Friday:
If you missed words on your Pre-Spelling Test then re-take the test if you made a 100 take today off and do something fun.
Write what you did in your Spelling Journal and include a photo of what you did.
Reading:
Charlie will be reading Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse. The Ultimate History. 40th Ed. for 30 minutes Monday through Thursday. Then Charlie will write 2 facts he learned each day in his reading Journal.
Friday Charlie will turn these facts into a report he will read out loud and we will take a photo of his performance.
Math Class:
Look up facts about Mickey Mouse that can be turned into Math problems for someone in your family to work out. Then have them create 5 math problems for you to work out.
How long has Mickey been around.
How many movies has he been in?
How many Cartoons was Mickey in?
Write the Math problems in your Math Journal.
Drama Class:
Watch a Mickey Mouse Movie or Cartoon and act out one of the scenes you saw for your parents.
Visit a Costume Store for a Mickey Mouse costume and dress up for your performance.
Write out a description of your performance in your Drama Journal and include a photo of your performance.
Music Class:
Look up Mickey Mouse movies and see if you can find songs in them and learn one of the songs to perform for your parents. Write where you found the song and the lyrics to the song inside your Music Journal.
Include a phot of your performance in your Music Journal.
PE:
Look up movies and Cartoons with Mickey Mouse in it and see what he does for Exercise because I know I’ve seen Mickey Mouse dance and play Football which you can do in your pe class.
In your PE journal write a description of what your found out in your PE Journal and include a photo of you performing what you found out.
Cooking Class:
Create cookies based on Mickie Mouses career and include the way he has changed over the years.
Write the Recipe for the Cooking inside your Cooking Journal which will be turned into a Cookbook at the end of the year and include a photo of the Cookies you make.
