I don’t know about your home but every morning in our house starts with Teatime which is usually a cup of Coffee if Charlie is home and awake — a quiet moment before the chaos, the chores, the work, the caregiving, and the content creation. Teatime is where I breathe, reset, and remind myself that today is a new day with new grace thanks to the Lord.
It doesn’t matter if you drink tea, coffee, water, or nothing at all, Teatime is our reminder to:
- pause
- breathe
- stretch
- pray
- reset your mind
- set your intention for the day
Today’s Teatime message:
“You don’t have to do everything at once. You just have to start.” If you’re reading this, you’ve already started.

⭐ 7:20🚶♀️💧 Walking Water & Supplements — Morning Check‑In
In my home every morning I check in with my body before we check in with the world. Walking Water & Supplements is our simple routine while taking the dogs for a walk and yes, that includes Bear.
- Drink water
- Take supplements
- Stretch
- Walk if you can
- Move your body gently
- Wake up your mind
This routine helps with:
- energy
- mood
- focus
- digestion
- stress
- overall health
Remember even if you only walk to the mailbox, it counts. For me a lot of times it’s just to the end of the sidewalk or up and down my stairs but it’s something and it counts.
⭐ Call to Action
Drink a glass of water right now. Your body will thank you. Before you ask I do have my bottle of water sitting next to me and main bottle is ready to take downstairs to fill up.
I will share what supplements I use once I get downstairs. In the meantime, what do you use and why?
🍽️ $5 Lunch — Today’s Budget Meal Preview
In our home there is 3 of us home all day. Charlie and I usually do not eat breakfast, but Gerald eats enough meals for all 3 and sometimes 4 of us.
Living on one income David doesn’t even buy lunch at work, so I try and respect that and when Charlie and I eat I try to make sure we spend no, more than $5 a day and most of the time we eat Leftovers, frozen Burritos or Pizza.
When we were Homeschooling full time one of C’s classes was cooking and this is why every day we share a $5 Lunch idea — real meals for real families on real budgets. So, families working from home have a healthy lunch or homeschooling families can let their kids make lunch with help from a adult.
Today’s $5 Lunch is: Tony’s Pizza + Ranch + Side Salad
No, Salad for C although he will eat Salad at times and none for Gerald, but I made it so the Pizza would stretch and its healthier for me while on my diet.
Total cost: $4.87 Feeds: 2–3 people Time: 15 minutes
This is perfect for:
- busy moms
- teens home for lunch
- caregivers
- anyone stretching groceries
- Moms
- Dads
