I thought I would share đ¸ Some Real Thoughts About Motherâs Day (and Real Life in Between) this is ourđ MOTHERâS DAY HUB PAGE explaining this new series to you.
Iâve been sitting with Motherâs Day coming up and realizing something⌠Mother’s Day it doesnât always look the way people think it does and it doesn’t always go the way we would like for it to.
Sometimes Mother’s Day is quiet.
Sometimes Mother’s Day is exhausting just ask Granny Sherry.
Sometimes itâs just another day youâre trying to get through while everything still needs you.
And I think we donât say that part enough.
People like to talk about the breakfasts in bed, the flowers, the perfect photosâŚ
but not always about the days leading up to Mother’s Day.
The tired days.
The âI donât have anything left in me todayâ days.
So I started writing it down. Not as advice. Not as anything Iâve figured out. Just real life, as it is.
đż Real Life, As It Is â A Small Collection
âď¸ The Morning After– Waking up still feeling the weight of yesterday but still getting up anyway.
đ¤ď¸ The Day After Trying Again– Not a big resetâjust a quiet shift toward something a little lighter.
đ¸ The Kind of Motherâs Day No One Talks About– The version that doesnât look perfect but still counts just the same.
đ Survival Mode Edition– The days where youâre not thrivingâyouâre just making it through.
None of these days are perfect by any means. Theyâre just pieces of real life in between everything else. And maybe thatâs the point.
If youâre here because youâre tired too⌠youâre not the only one. And you donât have to turn it all around today.
Just put one foot in front of the other on step at a time and you will have succeeded.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
