I wanted to share The Great Reward Remote I received in exchange for this review a while back and when I was online trying to find the website it didn’t exist. It seems like a lot of companies The Great Rewards Remote must have gone out of business.
The Great Reward Remote is something I would use in our home when Charlie was little. Now, I plan on passing it down to a friend to give to some children she knows and there parents who are struggling with there children’s behavior.
The Great Reward Remote is a talking toy and chart that rewards our children for good behavior, habits, chores which all children should do and grades making The Great Reward Remote the perfect addition to children #Homeschooling there children.
I liked using The Great Reward Remote with Charlie because it’s a interactive toy. Having The Great Reward Remote will allow us to instill values and a work/reward achievement pattern in our children. The Great Reward is a modern version of a chore chart.
It comes with a interactive wall placard where children can track there progress for a fun reward. There is 10 different voice recordings which allow children to choose 10 different reward types once the point goals have been meet.
Parents can choose between 5 points for a good reward or 10 rewards for a great award. FYI the child isn’t allowed to touch the side counter or the remote. The parent moves the slide counter or the remote. The parent moves the slide counter and hands the remote to the child when a reward is earned.
As the child gets older achievements can become harder for the children to keep them learning. I wanted to let you know The Great Reward Remote uses 3 batteries that are not included when making a purchase. The batteries should last about 3 months with regular use.
When preparing to use The Great Reward Remodel install the wall placard with the provided pieces of double-sided Velcro tape on a wall or your fridge. Slide the remote device into the pocket holder on the wall placard.
Position the slider at “start here”. The placard has two sliders so one or two children can use it at the same time. There is two buttons for the children to push once they reach there goal of 5 points or 10 points. Once they’ve chosen there reward move the slider down and start over.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
