I’ve always loved reading and finding new and unique bookmarkers to use in the books I read is part of the fun. I would like to share a new addition inside our Christmas Gift Guide 25: Mark The Year A Floral Bookmark for Each Month from Gibbs-Smith.com.
The box along is like a work of art with the Flowers on the front of the box in pretty reds and purples. Mark The Year is from Gibbs Smith and the Art used on the bookmarkers is by Nicole LeRue and this is the 1st printing.
Inside Mark The Year A Floral Bookmark for Each Month contains 24 paper bookmarks with 12 one of a kind designs. If your #Homeschooling your students and there studying nature, Flowers or gardening you can use the bookmarkers in there Reading Class.
The pictures on each Mark The Year Floral Bookmarkers would make a pretty piece of Art in you put the bookmarkers in a frame and hung them up in your home. I can also see the Bookmarkers being used as Gift Tags instead of tucked away in a book to not be seen.
On the back of each card is a quote from a famous Author including Heller Keller. You can turn the Authors into lesson plans using the quotes in a journaling class and the children can write what each quote means to them and why.
Mark The Year A Floral Bookmark for Each Month comes on a piece of hard paper ie cardboard so the bookmarkers will not tear easily. The back of each card is a unique color making them even more fun to look at. On the front of the bookmarker is a Flower and the month it’s for.
I enjoyed looking at all the different flowers and who had a Birthday that month and deciding if the flower fit that person or not. Like in May is Suzzie’s Birthday and the Flower for May is the Lily of the Valley and that does fit Suzzane.
The quote on the back of the bookmarker says “I must have FLOWERS, ALWAYS and always This quote is by Claude Monet and yes, the quote does fit Suzzane who loved Flowers just as much as Charlie and I do and always wanted a Flower Garden.
My Birthday is in November and my Flower is a Chrysanthemum which I’ve always had in my Garden. How about you? The quote says “IF WE could see THE MIRACLE of a single FLOWER clearly, our whole life WOULD change Buddha.
That is very true and this card hit close to home because of the FLOWER and Buddha which is Charlie’s nickname. I could go on and on showing your how these bookmarkers fit into our lives but I think you should pick up a box o Mark The Year A Floral Bookmark for Each Month for yourself.
