Charlie and David both have been intrigued by the Solar System and the Stars for as far back as I can remember. I we had been #Homeschooling still we would have used Exploring the Universe: A Complete Guide to the Cosmos in our #Homeschool Science Class. Learning shouldn’t stop when you graduate our family has been reading Exploring the Universe: A Complete Guide to the Cosmos in the evenings as a family.

I love how the Author Sara Gillingham has us travel from Earth to the edge of the observable Universe bringing us lots of teaching moments. my family was excited to see Exploring the Universe: A Complete Guide to the Cosmos is broken down into chapters including Stars Charlie’s favorite and Galaxies David’s favorite. I liked learning about the Solar System and so did David and Charlie.

I love how the Author shows us our place in Space and our view from Earth. Did you know Astronomy is like time-traveling? In the book there are plenty of graphs to show us what the Author is talking about. The illustrations are so life like it’s like you could reach out and touch the Stars and Planets. Science teachers will love Exploring the Universe: A Complete Guide to the Cosmos.

In the back of Exploring the Universe: A Complete Guide to the Cosmos is a glossary that goes over the words we find in the book. I thought Exploring the Universe: A Complete Guide to the Cosmos might be too hard for David to read but with Charlie’s help David was able to read the book and share what he learned with his friends at work. If you know a Science Teacher, this book will make a nice gift for them and any Librarians you know.
