The Phone I Didn’t Think Much About… Until I Started Using It Every Day

Electronics, Blue-Tooth, Microphones, Ear Plugs Phones, Cases

I don’t know if your husband is like mine but if someone tells David he is can save money he is going to believe them and do what they tell him he needs to do. More times than not this has gotten us into trouble and we’ve had to spend time redoing things which drives me batty.

That is what happened when David went to pay our phone bill a couple weeks ago. David went to a different store and the clerk talked David into changing our account to his store. Then the next month David went back to our regular store and found out everything the new guy had told him wasn’t true.

Once we got everything fixed we all ended up with new phones and David’s mom and I ended up with tablets. I wasn’t looking for a new phone. I wasn’t excited about a new phone. I didn’t even think I needed to care about a new phone. It just kind of ended up in my hands.

I was upset because I loved the phone I had and didn’t want to change phones and neither did Charlie. Then my phone got turned off and I had to use the new phone which is the Samsung Galaxy A36 5G from Total Wireless, and at first I figured it would just be another device I’d learn slowly and tolerate.

But it actually surprised me. What I noticed first wasn’t anything technical. It was just how easy it felt to use. I didn’t have to think about it every time I picked it up, and that alone matters more than people realize. The screen is easy to navigate.

The camera is better than I expected, and I use it constantly now for everyday things — not perfect photos, just real ones. Stuff I can use for the blog or just to remember a moment before it passes There is a line on the side of the phone Charlie showed me and it has AI select which I have no, clue what it is but Charlie and Bradley are going to show me.

Notes which makes blogging on my phone easy. Gallery so I can see my photos at any time. A link to the internet so I can always make sure I’m connected. A clock and calendar which I use almost everyday. The phone isn’t to big so it’s easy for me to hold.

There are small features I didn’t expect to care about that I actually use now. I love how there is step tracking, and water reminders, on the front screen so I can track my steps without thinking about. I also like having the weather right on the front screen so I can always track the weather and no, what it happening in my area. There is also a calendar that I actually glance at during the day instead of ignoring like I usually do and I can put notes on it so I know what I need to do or my family needs to do.

Charlie’ showed me something I didn’t even know was there’s favorite feature of the phone is — a side panel you can pull out that gives quick access to notes, gallery, clock, and internet tools. Charlie uses that more than I thought he would. Charlie thought it was funny David, Bradley and I didn’t know about the side panel and that he was able to teach us something.

It came simple too. Activation card, cable, basic setup instructions. No confusion, no overwhelm. In a nice box we can keep the phone in if were not using it. The phone is even blue which is good because I don’t care for black. Not that it matters because David bought me a pretty pink case with Butterflies on it to keep my phone in.

The only thing I still haven’t figured out is how to change the wallpaper because I don’t like the blue background it came with. I want something softer, more like me, but I haven’t taken the time to mess with it yet. But I know when the boys have time they will help me personalize the phone so its more me.

There is even a button that says entertain that has my sites in it I need to ask the boys what it is. I love having a button for YouTube music which I like to play when walking. Life is funny because with this phone it isn’t the parents teaching the kids its the kids teaching the parents and this is not a IPhone which I refuse to purchase because they cost to much and this is not a “wow” phone story. It’s just a real-life one. Something that fits into my day instead of complicating it.

Have you heard of Total Wireless? Have you used them? Have you heard of this phone if not what phone do you have?

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
