One of the biggest goals I’ve set for myself during my healthy lifestyle journey is drinking at least 80 ounces of water every day. which is part of the I Think I Can Water and Walking Challenge. I must tell you some days that’s easier than others, but I’ve found that having a bottled water I genuinely enjoy makes a big difference. That’s where Core Hydration Water comes in.
If you’ve ever stood in the bottled water aisle, you know exactly what I mean when I say there are what feels like fifty different brands to choose from. Every bottle claims to be the purest, the freshest, or the healthiest. Honestly, I couldn’t tell you which one is the absolute best. I can only tell you what works for me, and Core Hydration Water has become my go-to choice.
Today I’m drinking the 23.9-fluid-ounce bottle, although I purchase the larger bottles whenever I find them on sale. I often pick them up at Kroger during one of their promotions or grab one at Walmart while we’re grocery shopping. It’s one of those products that I try to keep stocked at home because I don’t like running out.
But I must tell you as a mom I’ve learned I have to hide my water or everyone in the house grabs them and then there is none left for me. I remind them time and time again I need these bottles of water for my diet but that doesn’t matter everyone wants this water because they like the way it taste.
Trying to drink 80 ounces of water every day is a lot easier when I have Core Hydration Water with me. For me, it simply tastes better than our tap water, which isn’t safe to drink and more times that not the tap water is cloudy. This is why it is much easier to reach my daily water goal.
The contoured bottle is comfortable to hold and easy to grab when I’m heading out the door to run errands, grocery shop, or spend the day with my family. More often than not, you’ll find one in my hand. If I happen to run out at home, one of my first stops is usually the nearest store to pick up another bottle. I don’t like being without it.
As I’ve been paying closer attention to what I eat and drink, I appreciate that Core Hydration Water contains zero calories, zero carbohydrates, zero fat, and no sodium. That makes it a great choice for my weight-loss journey, and the lack of sodium is something our family appreciates because David has to watch his salt intake.
While visiting the Core Hydration website, I learned a little more about how the company makes its water. According to Core Hydration, the water is purified using a proprietary seven-stage reverse osmosis process before it’s enhanced with electrolytes and minerals for taste. The company also says the water is balanced to a pH of 7.4, which they describe as matching the body’s natural pH balance. I also like that the bottle is made from 100% recycled plastic, excluding the cap and label, making it a small but positive choice for the environment.
Of course, all of those details are nice, but what keeps me coming back is something much simpler. I enjoy the taste. It has a clean, refreshing flavor without the aftertaste I’ve noticed with some other bottled waters. Since drinking enough water is already a challenge for many of us, having one that I actually look forward to drinking helps me stay on track.
Core Hydration also has a helpful product locator on its website if you’re trying to find a store near you that carries it. I’ve found it in several grocery stores and convenience stores, so it’s usually easy to pick up another bottle whenever I need one. Or ask David to bring me a bottle home when he is out and about.
At the end of the day, I’m not going to tell you that one bottled water is better than every other brand because everyone’s tastes are different. I can only share my own experience. For me, Core Hydration Water has become the bottle I reach for time and time again. It tastes great, it’s easy to carry, and it helps me meet my hydration goals every single day.
If you’re looking for a bottled water to try, this one has definitely earned a permanent place in my shopping cart.
Disclosure: I purchased this product with my own money. All opinions expressed in this review are my own. Information about the purification process, pH balance, and manufacturing comes from Core Hydration’s website.
