More and more I’ve learned when I’ stumbling with the blog and there are problems I can’t fix on my own that the LORD is preparing me for something new. That is what happened this week and I would like to let you know this new direction had me asking “Where has this been all my life?”
That was exactly what happened to me, and it all started because I was having trouble with my blog. 6 hours later after working on it and I wanted to throw in the towel after trying to fix my website, the more frustrated I became. After trying everything I could think of, I finally reached out to my friend, Renee Brown, hoping she could point me in the right direction. Renee immediately jumped in and tried to solve the problem herself, but this one was beyond what either of us could fix.
That’s when she contacted her friend, Barb Ireland, the creative force behind DreamPress Studio. The funny thing is my website even had Barb stumped. But thanks to Renee not giving up my website is back on track. But the story didn’t end there. I learned more about Barb Ireland.
The next day, Renee said something that changed the direction of this article: “You really should take a look at Barb’s artwork.” So I did. Before long, I found myself exploring collection after collection, wondering where this incredible resource had been hiding all this time. The more I looked, the more ideas filled my head.
As a blogger, I’m always looking for ways to make my website more inviting and inspiring. When I discovered Barb’s whimsical Wizard of Oz-inspired artwork, my imagination immediately went to work because we all know I keep telling you I go down that rabbit hole more than any knows.
. I started asking myself, How could I use these beautiful images on TheMommiesReviews.com? Then I discovered her butterflies, angels, ballerinas, florals, fantasy artwork, steampunk collections, seasonal designs, and so much more. Every collection seemed to spark another idea.
Some images would look beautiful framed in my home. Others would make thoughtful handmade gifts. Some would be perfect for creative writing prompts, classroom activities, prayer journals, blog graphics, planners, or printable projects. That’s when I realized this wasn’t just about beautiful artwork.
It was about inspiration. It was about discovering creative possibilities I hadn’t even considered before. It also would allow me to decorate my home without breaking the budget. A Godsend for my family because we can’t afford the artwork I would like to purchase but now I can.
