A Simple Question for Tonight: What Slowed You Down This Week?

I thought I would share aA Simple Question for Tonight: What Slowed You Down This Week?

Foi my family not every week feels like it moves at the same speed. Some weeks feel rushed from beginning to end, while others have small pockets where things naturally slow down — even if just for a moment. For my family it’s interesting how those slower moments tend to stand out more than the busy ones.

Those moments are not always planned, and they don’t always last long, but they often leave the biggest impression. Maybe it’s a quiet evening, a conversation that didn’t feel rushed, or just a moment where everything felt still for a few minutes.

Those small pauses matter more than we usually give them credit for. So tonight’s simple question is: What is one moment this week that felt a little slower or more peaceful for you?

For me it was the day Charlie and Bradley and even David was at work. The house was quite. Gerald was on the couch watching tv and I was upstairs working without being stopped every 5 minutes. For me that was a Godsend because I felt like I could breath and do what I wanted and there was no, one for me to answer to.

I wish I had more day’s like that. What about you? Even though David works today he is home for the moment and Bradley is here. The downstairs still hasn’t been cleaned and David is off running errands. I need Calgon to take me away for a moment. Have you ever felt like that?

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cate
