As schools close and parents are forced to self-quarantine, while all spring break travels are cancelled, there is a fun and safe option for families to stay engaged at home. Over the next few days, children’s book author – Sucheta Rawal is offering free virtual storytelling sessions to entertain kids, and give parents a much needed break. In times of uncertainty, it is more imperative than ever to lower anxiety levels among children and families and talk about travel in a positive way. What better way to do so than reading about a traveling cat?

While Kids are Stuck at Home, They Can Still Travel The World Through Storybooks

Rawal’s series of 5 ‘Beato Goes To’ books – are based on different countries and teach kids about geography, culture, wildlife, food, and much more. The books spark imagination, inspire global learning, and encourage kids to be tolerant toward each other.

Beato Goes To children’s books are published by Virginia-based Mascot Books, and appropriate for ages 4-8. Beato’s adventures include Beato Goes to Greenland focusing on environment, Beato Goes to Israel discussing religious diversity, Beato Goes to Indonesia on endangered animals, Beato Goes to Japan on the importance of respecting elders, and Beato Goes To Brazil about the diversity of people in Brazil.
