Chick-fil-A

Charlie, David and I attended a event at Texas Motor Speedway for the Children’s Charity Tree Lighting and Gift of Lights last night. Before we even left home David and I discussed what we would do for dinner. As we did we went over which restaurants were close to Texas Motor Speedway. I reminded David of  Whataburger and  Chick-fil-A along with Buc-ee’s. Although there are other restaurants close to Texas Motor Speedway.

Everyone say’s Chick-Fil-A is expensive but when we can have dinner for a family of 3 for less than $20 we can afford to eat out. Now you might ask how we do that? We purchase a 30 piece Chicken Nugget Tray for $12. Then we purchase one drink and share because Chick-Fil-A offers free refills. Then we splurge and get a Medium Fry David and I share. Because you can’t have Chick-Fil-A without Waffle Fries.

If the guys are still hungry when we get home they can get a snack to eat. Although usually the Nugget Tray fills us up. Because we should get 10 Nuggets apiece. I only eat 6 Chicken Nuggets giving David and Charlie 12 apiece. Sometimes David doesn’t eat all 12 and Charlie ends up with extra he brings home for a snack.

Charlie and I love visiting this Chick-Fil-A and seeing all the of wonderful decorations from Christmas Trees to all the Cows sitting around. Charlie and I would have liked to bring home with us. As well as the sign below because everyone should eat more chicken. Just ask David and Charlie.

As for the trees I know my mom would have loved them with the Cows on the Christmas trees. My mom collected Cows. She would tell you you could never have to many Cows. I just wish she was here to go have dinner with us as Charlie and I miss her a lot. I know she would have loved all the decorations and visiting both Chick-Fil-A and Texas Motor Speedway.

I have a question for you this morning. Do you have your Christmas Tree up yet? Do you decorate your home? As Charlie and I are hoping to put lights on our home this year. As for our Tree we will not put it up until after the 16th of December because that is Charlie’s Birthday and I didn’t want Christmas to interfere with his Birthday.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
