Cremo Grooming Collection Review: Body Wash, Deodorant & Everyday Family Use (Father’s Day Gift Guide Update)

Father's Day Gift Guide Grooming Teens

A while back, we received a set of grooming products from Cremo for Charlie and David to try, including body washes and deodorants. I thought I had already written this review when they first came in, but when I went back to look for it recently, I couldn’t find it. The truth is, these products never really left our routine, so this ended up becoming more of a long-term use update rather than a first impression.

I believe Cremo originally arrived during the holiday season, ie Christmas because of the name of some of the products but they’ve been used consistently in our home ever since. That’s what made me want to include them in a Father’s Day gift guide now, because Cremo has proven themselves in real everyday use across different seasons instead of just being tested and set aside. This ended up being a long-term use update rather than a first impressions review, which gives a more accurate look at how the products perform in real routines.

Cremo is a modern grooming brand that focuses on combining everyday practicality with more elevated fragrance profiles. The idea is simple—take basic grooming products like body wash and deodorant and give them layered scents and a more intentional experience without making them complicated.

In our home, we used four main products: two body washes and two deodorants.

The body wash line included Mulled Pomegranate, Fireside Vanilla, and Italian Bergamot and Palo Santo. The Mulled Pomegranate has a fruity, slightly smoky feel that originally fit the holiday season but still works beyond it because it isn’t overly sweet. In our home, this originally felt seasonal but quickly proved to be wearable beyond the holidays because the scent is balanced and not overly sweet.

Fireside Vanilla leans warmer and cozier with a spiced, soft vanilla scent that feels comforting without being heavy. This one became more of a comfort-based scent in our home, often used in evening or wind-down routines.

Italian Bergamot is much brighter and fresher with citrus notes layered with neroli blossom and vetiver, making it more of an everyday type of scent. It became the most consistent everyday-use body wash and deodorant choice in our home due to its clean, fresh profile that works across different ages without feeling overpowering.

Palo Santo has scents of Cardamom, and it is calming and refreshing this was C’s favorite. These products were used across teens and adults in our household, giving a real multi-user perspective rather than a single-person review. This was the clear favorite for C in our home and became the most frequently reached-for scent during regular showers.

All of the body washes are 16 fluid ounces and designed with a moisturizing formula that creates a rich lather while building fragrance in layers as you use them. The scent doesn’t stay flat—it develops as you wash, which is part of what makes the experience feel more elevated than a standard body wash.

The deodorants David and Charlie used were Italian Bergamot became the primary daytime deodorant choice due to its clean, fresh scent that works well for school, work, and everyday activities without being overpowering

Palo Santo. The Bergamot is clean, bright, and fresh, making this deodorant an easy everyday option. The Palo Santo is deeper, smokier, and more wood-based, leaning more toward a grounded or evening-type scent.

This version leaned more toward an evening or relaxed-use scent profile in our home, offering a deeper, wood-based option that still felt wearable for daily use.oth are 2.65-ounce sticks with long-lasting odor protection and a smooth application.

What stood out most is that these products became part of real routines rather than staying in “review mode.” In a household with teens and adults at different stages of grooming, they naturally fit into daily hygiene habits and personal care learning.

We’ve also started incorporating basic grooming and shaving awareness into daily routines. David uses grooming products for beard care as well, so the razor and blades, I saw on the website along with these body wash and deodorant products, all connect into a broader personal care system instead of being separate items for separate people.

That’s part of why Cremo fits well in a Father’s Day gift guide. Cremo isn’t products that sit unused after gifting. They naturally get pulled into everyday life, especially in households where teens and adults are all in different stages of personal care.

Instead of duplicating everything for each person, this skin care line for grooming for men and women becomes more about sharing responsibly, building habits, and teaching simple routines that actually stick for families.

Cremo describes their approach as combining authentic everyday grooming needs with more sophisticated fragrances, and in real use, that shows up as products that are practical but still feel like a small upgrade to daily routines.

Butterfly Rating System (Home Review Scale)

We use a Butterfly Rating System in our home to reflect how products fit different members of the family.

This collection receives a Blue Butterfly for C and D, since these products are being used consistently as part of their growing personal care routines and are easy for teens to use safely and responsibly.

It also receives a Purple Butterfly for family use, since the products naturally fit into shared household grooming routines and are used across multiple people.

I would also give it a Yellow Butterfly for myself, since I prefer products that are simple, effective, and easy to incorporate into a busy household without overthinking it. All in all the products received a 5 as well because these are great for busy families looking for quality products.

There is also potential here for women’s grooming and gift basket options, especially if the same attention to fragrance layering and formula quality carries across the full line. That’s something I would personally be interested in trying and reviewing in the future.

That’s why Cremo fits naturally into a Father’s Day Gift Guide. These are not products that end up forgotten after gifting—they easily become part of everyday grooming routines across teens and adults alike.

For families or individuals who want practical grooming products with elevated fragrance profiles, this line delivers consistency, ease of use, and real everyday value that lasts well beyond the holiday season.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
