I woke up this morning and I could hear the Folger’s Coffee commercial playing in my head. I’m not sure if it was because I wanted a cup of Coffee or because I’ve been thinking about my childhood a lot more this week. For me some drinks become part of your routine without you even realizing it.

For me, one of those is Folgers coffee and this weekend was one of those long, emotional, busy days where I needed something warm and familiar, and a cup of coffee helped more than I expected it to. It wasn’t fancy coffee shop coffee.

My cup of Folgers Coffee isn’t loaded with syrups or extras. Just enough Sugar and Creamer to choke a horse. LOL It was just simple coffee at home, and honestly, sometimes that’s enough. One thing I like about Folgers is that it’s consistent. You know what you’re getting, it’s easy to make, and it works well for everyday mornings when life is already busy enough.

There’s a reason people still remember the phrase “Good to the Last Drop.” It’s one of those coffees that feels familiar, dependable, and comforting after all these years. Some days coffee is just coffee. Other days it becomes part of slowing down for a minute and catching your breath.

Today felt more like the second kind. And paired with a cup of sweet tea later in the day, it ended up being one of the small comforts that helped me reset a little. Along with the water I snuck in throughout the day.

My Honest Thoughts:

  • Easy everyday coffee
  • Comes in a variety of strengths which I like
  • Familiar flavor that goes all the way back to my childhood
  • Simple and comforting
  • Works well for busy mornings

Question for readers:

What coffee brand do you keep stocked in your kitchen most often?

Folgers comes from The J.M. Smucker Company
