Grace to Grace, Room by Room: Hallway Review MicroTouch Titanium Trim At-Home Haircut & Body Groomer
Today’s Review is also part of the Grace to Grace Room to Room review and this didn’t come from the Hallway but the dinning room because Charlie was looking for something on my shelf. He found the MicroTouch Titanium Trim At-Home Haircut & Body Groomer.
I’m sure I bought this for Charlie as a gift because his grandmother didn’t get the shaver she was supposed to have gotten Charlie for his graduation. I have no, clue why Charlie or David haven’t used it but Charlie said I got it for him when he was in Hobart, Oklahoma and he had forgotten we had bought it for him and that could be true.
Charlie and David haven’t put it to work yet, but I wanted to share my first impressions after looking over everything included and reading about its features. The MicroTouch Titanium Trim is designed to be more than just a hair trimmer which I don’t plan on telling Charlie.
It’s made for haircuts, beard trimming which David needs more than you know, edging, and body grooming, giving you one tool for several grooming needs. The suggested retail price is $44.99, and it’s available through Amazon and the MicroTouch Groom website and Walmart which is where we purchased it from.
One of the features that immediately caught my attention is the 40-millimeter extendable handle. If you’ve ever struggled to reach the back of your neck or other hard-to-reach places, this seems like a practical addition. The handle extends to help make grooming easier without having to twist or strain. The way David’s back is and my shoulders this would be a Godsend if I were going to use it.
The trimmer also features micro-polished stainless steel blades bonded with titanium, which are designed to provide a smooth, powerful cut. According to the manufacturer, the motor operates at 200 RPM, giving it additional cutting power while helping create clean, even results.
Another interesting feature is the 90-degree offset blade angle. The company says this positions the trimmer more like a comb, making it feel more natural and comfortable while trimming. I like how this package includes five precision-engineered comb attachments, allowing you to choose different cutting lengths depending on your hairstyle or grooming needs. I like having options instead of being limited to one length.
The SoftTouch non-slip grip is another thoughtful feature. A comfortable grip can make a big difference, especially if you’re spending several minutes trimming or cutting hair. One of my favorite features is the built-in LED light. As someone who appreciates good lighting for detailed tasks, I think this could really help when trimming around sideburns, ears, necklines, or other areas where it’s easy to miss a spot.
Inside the box you’ll find the MicroTouch Titanium Trim unit, five comb attachments, a cleaning brush, and two AA batteries. I always appreciate when batteries are included because you can use the product right out of the box. Which also saves you money which is awesome.
Based solely on the packaging, included accessories, and advertised features, I’m impressed with what this grooming tool offers. It appears to be designed with convenience in mind, especially for those who like taking care of haircuts and grooming at home. This is why you will find it inside our Back to School Gift Guide for students and teachers.
Of course, the real test will come after David and Charlie and I wouldn’t be surprised if Bradly actually uses it. I’ll be sharing a follow-up Hallway Review once I’ve had the chance to see how well it performs, how comfortable it is to hold, how cleanly it cuts, and whether it lives up to its promises.
Hallway Rating: First Look
For a first impression, I’m giving the MicroTouch Titanium Trim At-Home Haircut & Body Groomer 5 out of 5 stars. It includes everything needed to get started, offers several thoughtful design features, and appears to be built for convenience. Now I’m looking forward to finding out if it performs as well in real life as it does on the box.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
