Every year, as a new school year approaches, I start thinking about the people who pour so much into our children. Teachers spend their days encouraging, teaching, helping, and caring for students, and sometimes a simple thank-you gift can be a meaningful way to show apperception not only for public school teachers and the staff but homeschool teachers as well.
which is why I would like to share a set of Coffee cups I found at the Dollar Store which you will find inside our Back-to-School Gift Guide, where I share affordable, thoughtful gift ideas that can help you celebrate teachers, school staff, friends, and family throughout the school year.
While shopping at Dollar Tree, I found several coffee cups that made me think of teachers immediately and all they do and would make a wonderful welcome back to school gift not only for the teachers but the staff as well. As someone who loves coffee cups and enjoys finding items that have a purpose or a story behind them, these were fun finds that could easily become part of a simple gift basket.
One cup that caught my attention says “Everything Gets Better With Coffee” which David and Charlie agreed with and I thought this would be a great teacher gift idea because so many teachers start their mornings with coffee before heading into a busy classroom.
I also found cups with sayings like:
- “Less Monday, More Coffee”
- “Coffee and I Are Having a Moment”
These fun messages add personality and make a simple coffee cup feel a little more special.
The great thing about these Dollar Tree coffee cups is that they can be turned into a complete gift without spending a lot. You can add:
- A favorite coffee blend
- Hot chocolate packets
- Tea bags
- Chocolates or snacks
- A small gift card
- A handwritten note of appreciation
I also loved the idea of creating matching coffee gifts. The “All You Need Is Love and Coffee” cups stood out to me because they came in different colors. A black cup reminded me of David, a red cup reminded me of Charlie because he loves red, and a cream-colored cup felt like one I would choose for myself.
These kinds of gifts are not only great for teachers. They can also work for coworkers, new jobs, birthdays, Christmas gifts, or anyone who enjoys a good cup of coffee. This is one of the things I love about finding everyday treasures. One item can have more than one story. These cups started as a Dollar Tree find, became part of my coffee cup collection, and now they are also a fun idea for a Back-to-School Gift Guide.
As we continue building the Back-to-School Gift Guide, I will keep sharing affordable finds, thoughtful ideas, and simple ways to bless the people around us. Sometimes the smallest gifts can carry the biggest message: “Thank you for all that you do.”
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
