It’s Monday, and time for Math at in our classroom so I am here this morning sharing Homeschool Math Resources for you. If you have used these resources, can you let me know what you thought of them and why. Or if there is a resource in this list you would like to use, can you let me know why.

Worksheets for Kids
Age Range: 4-11 (Grades K-5, with parental supervision)
KidZone is part of the DLTK family of ad-supported, educational websites. This review focuses on the Mathematics portion of the site, where there are plenty of free math worksheets and activities to print and do.
When you get to the site you’ll find:
  • Math Games – online, timed Basic Facts addition, subtraction and multiplication quizzes (Good for any grade – improve basic skills)
    • Math Brain Teaser (Grade 3 and up) – very fun to try!
    • Mathematical Magic Trick – (practice your 2 times tables and 5 times tables)
    • Mathematical Magic Trick – Calculator – (practice using a calculator)
  • Free Printable Worksheets – You can select your desired grade level, theme (farm, jungle, ocean, holidays, and more), and activity type including:
    • Addition
    • Subtraction
    • Multiplication
    • Division
    • Geometry
    • Word Problems
Many of the worksheets are different every time they load, for virtually unlimited practice sets.

This website offers free information for kids featuring animated superheroes who teach sound fiscal responsibility through their adventures.
Your kids can raise their financial I.Q. as they learn:
  • Where money comes from
  • How to operate an ATM, write a check, and create a budget
  • How to save and invest money
  • How to wisely spend and share money
When you get to the site, click on the “Menu” icon in the top left corner of the page to access the different sections that include:
  • Characters – There are “Heroes”, “Villains”, or “Allies”. Learn their “superpowers” such as controlling liquid assets or luring you into accepting tempting credit card offers.
  • Library – You’ll find Comic Books – fun stories (starring the financial superheroes) that reinforce your financial education; Lesson Books – with topics that provide basic info on money, how to earn money, how to save and invest money, and information on the stock market; and Factivity Books – 10 page ‘books’ with lots of money facts.
  • Fun & Games – Coloring sheets, crossword puzzles, word searches, and Sudoku puzzles that extend the learning.
In addition, you’ll find a glossary of terms used in the lessons and stories at this site. There’s good content here that’s presented in an engaging way for the target age-range.
