Mile Marker Grace: Sunday Morning Blessing — March 29, 2026

Morning, family and friends another week has come to a end or another week is beginning it’s a glass half-full as to how you look at Sundays. But before the day gets away from us I wanted to share Mile Marker Grace: Sunday Morning Blessing — March 29, 2026.

Some mornings don’t come in loud. They don’t come in with alarms or chaos or someone yelling “Where’s my shoes?” from the hallway. Some mornings arrive soft — like God whispering instead of shouting. This morning is one of those. Thank the LORD for that.

The sun is barely stretching over the edge of the world, painting the sky in those soft peach and honey colors that only show up when the day is brand new. My coffee is warm, my Bible is open, and the porch is quiet enough that I can hear my own breath again.

Bear is curled up at my feet like the little brown Chiweenie porch boss he thinks he is. Pheobie is upstairs snoring the day away just like Charlie and Bradley. And right beside my Bible, tucked in like they always are, sit my three little reminders: the cross, the frog, and the butterfly.

The cross reminds me that grace didn’t start with me and it won’t end with me. The frog reminds me to Fully Rely on God — even when the week has been long and the dishes has been longer. And the butterfly reminds me that transformation doesn’t happen all at once. It happens in quiet places, slow places, porch places. Even though Suzzane isn’t here on Earth she is always nearby.

This morning, I’m choosing to believe that God meets us right where we are — not where we “should” be, not where we planned to be, not where we pretend to be. Right here. In the messy middle. In the undone chores. In the tired bones. In the “Lord, I’m trying” moments.

So, here’s your blessing:

May this Sunday bring you rest in the places you’ve been carrying too much. May it bring you clarity in the places you’ve been confused. May it bring you peace in the places you’ve been stretched thin. May it bring you joy in the places you forgot to look. May it bring you grace — the kind that doesn’t ask you to earn it.

You don’t have to fix everything today. You don’t have to be everything today. You don’t have to carry everything today.

Just breathe. Just sit. Just let God meet you on your own porch or wherever your safe place is — with your own coffee or favorite beverage, and your own Bible, book or journal, which are your own little symbols of hope.

This is your Mile Marker Grace for the morning. A reminder that you made it to another sunrise. A reminder that you’re held. A reminder that you’re loved. A reminder that today is a gift — not a test. The LORD and I love you.

We are grateful, thankful and blessed that you take the time to check out my blog which is my Circus and even when I don’t want to admit it these are my Monkes and no, I wouldn’t change them for a million dollars but sometimes you could take them.

Amen.
