☀️ WHAT DROPS EVERY SINGLE DAY

🍳 Cooking Content — Every single day has something cooking. A recipe, a meal idea, a budget hack, a family dinner, a $5 miracle — this family cooks every day, and we share every day which you will find inside THE BIG FAMILY COOKING SERIES — OUR REAL‑LIFE, YEAR‑ROUND KITCHEN STORY.

💲 $5 Lunch — We feed 3–4 people a real meal for $5 or less. Every day. Real groceries. Real prices. No pretending we shop anywhere fancy. If we can stretch it, we’ll show you how. More times than not we have more than 4 people to feed.

💕 Did I Date Myself or Did I Date My Husband? — Every day I will share one moment explaining something I did for myself, or did David and I have a moment together? A quiet cup of tea alone would be a Godsend for me today. Or D opening the car door at the store? This daily series is about keeping myself and my marriage alive in the middle of family chaos. Full posts are coming — this one’s going to be something special.

🌍 Earth Day — Every day until Earth Day we’re celebrating this planet together. Tips, activities, crafts, facts, and things your family can do right now — for homeschool families, parents, kids, and teens as well as teachers and librarians. This isn’t just a once-a-year holiday. We’re making it a daily thing because the earth deserves it and our kids need to see it.

🍵 Teatime — Glenda’s daily tea moment. Slow down. Breathe. Sip something warm. This is the pause in the chaos. My time to vent and thank the LORD for the day we got through.

🚶‍♀️ Walking, Water & Supplements — Real wellness content every day. Walking, staying hydrated, taking my vitamins. Not influencer wellness — real mama wellness. As I live on Slimfast and Hydroxy Cut,

🎮 Games, Swagbucks & Ways to Make Money at Home — Every day we share something — an app, a hack, a game that pays, a side hustle tip. If it puts money in your pocket from your couch, it belongs here.

🔴 MONDAY — Gaming Series – King Gaming + Streaming Tween & Parent Series & Family Book Basket

🎮 The Gaming Series — A parent-and-teen gaming series running every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. C brings the honest game reviews, walkthroughs, and real talk about what he’s playing. Inside every gaming post you’ll find Guy’s Corner — C’s game pick of the week, rated and reviewed with zero filter. He’s mentoring Mercy, Jordan, Tank, and Future through gaming, so you’ll hear what the whole crew is into. If your family games, Monday is where your week starts.

📚 Family Book Basket — What the family is reading this week. Board books for the littles, chapter books for the big kids. The nieces and nephews test everything. Lisa gets photos for her grandson. Niccole gets photos for her son. Granny Sherry keeps her stack ready for Leslie and Elijah. Bear sits in his reading chair like the king he is. If you love books and family reading time, bookmark Monday.

Review & Affiliate Spotlight — A real product review or affiliate pick. Tested by this family, shared with honesty.

🟠 TUESDAY — All Things Taco Tuesday + Homeschool Teaching & Reviews 🌮

🌮 All Things Taco Tuesday — THE series readers come back for every single week. This is everything tacos — the recipe we actually made this week, D’s specialty tacos that the family rates and debates, C’s taco requests, budget taco nights where we feed the crew for under $10, taco hacks that save time and money, and honest reviews of local DFW taco spots we actually visited with real prices and real opinions. Nobody does Taco Tuesday like this family. If you only bookmark one day — make it Tuesday.

🍳 Recipe of the Week — Beyond tacos, whatever else we cooked this week that’s worth sharing.

📖 Homeschool Teaching & Reviews — Real resources for homeschool families. What we recommend and what worked, what’s didn’t, and honest reviews of curriculum, tools, and programs. If you homeschool, this is your Tuesday stop.

Review & Affiliate Spotlight — Another honest product pick, tested and shared.

🟡 WEDNESDAY — Gaming Series + Date Day + David’s Honey-Do Day + Saving & Earning

🎮 The Gaming Series featuring Guy’s Corner — Round two for the week. Another game review, another honest pick from C, another update from the gaming crew.

💍 Date Day — Every Wednesday, D and Glenda go on a real date. Just the two of them. D makes breakfast if they’re doing lunch, or he handles dinner — they trade off. Their go-to is Denny’s where the two of them can eat for $20, but C absolutely refuses to eat there so he stays home. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a movie — this series proves you don’t need a babysitter and a credit card to date your spouse. You just need to show up.

🛠️ David’s Honey-Do Day — David is off on Wednesdays and the list comes out. What did he tackle? What did he fix? What did he build? What did he start and quietly walk away from? This is where D shines. If his boss uses him on Wednesday, Honey-Do Day moves to Thursday — because the list doesn’t care what day it is.

💰 All Things to Save Money & Earn Online — Real ways to stretch a dollar, earn from home, save on groceries, cut bills, and build something on the side. Not “start a six-figure business” talk — real, practical, this-is-what-we-actually-do money talk.

🟢 THURSDAY — Free Family Weekend Events

🎉 Free Family Weekend Events in DFW — Every Thursday, we round up free and budget-friendly things for families to do this weekend. Parks, festivals, library programs, community events, splash pads, story times, markets — if it’s free or close to free and family-friendly, it’s on this list. This post gets reshared on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so you always have it when you need it. If you’re the parent who’s always searching “free stuff to do this weekend near me” — Thursday just solved that for you. Share it with every parent you know.

🛠️ David’s Honey-Do Day — Shows up here if it moved from Wednesday.

📋 Glenda’s catch-up day at work — the behind-the-scenes engine that keeps this whole site running while D handles the house.

🔵 FRIDAY — Gaming Series + Family Fun Friday + Friday Night Gardening + Girls Night

🎮 The Gaming Series featuring Guy’s Corner — The third and final gaming post of the week. C closes it out with one more honest pick before the weekend.

🎉 Family Fun Friday — Thursday’s free weekend events get reshared with new picks added. This is the post DFW families share with each other every single week. The list everybody needs before the weekend hits.

🌱 Friday Night Gardening — After the week is done, we get our hands in the dirt. What we’re growing, what survived, what didn’t, and what the garden looks like right now. Flower beds out front, container gardens, herbs on the porch — whatever we’re working with this season.

🥂 Girls Night — Friday night belongs to the girls. Whether it’s wine night at Lisa’s, a movie on the couch, or just a phone call with the crew — this is the content that reminds every mama she’s allowed to have fun too.

It’s also lunch day with my best friend Debbie Finney Sutton when we can get together and may have to become virtual lunches.

🟣 SATURDAY — C & Friends Gaming Day + Walmart Clothes Reviews + Restaurant Reviews

💼 D’s at work.

🎮 C & Friends Gaming Day — C and his crew game all day Saturday. This is their day. Who showed up, what they played, who won, who raged, who had the best moment. D doesn’t game yet — we’re working on getting the game system he wants, and when we do, that review is going straight into the Christmas Gift Guide.

👗 Walmart Clothes Reviews — Honest reviews of clothes from Walmart. What we bought, what we tried on, what fit, what didn’t, what’s worth your money and what isn’t. Real bodies, real prices, real opinions. No sponsorship — just truth.

🍔 Restaurant Reviews — Honest, teen-tested at times, budget-rated reviews of local DFW restaurants. Where we ate, what we ordered, what it cost, and whether we’d go back. If you’re picking a place to eat this weekend, check here first.

🎉 Free weekend events reshared.

⚪ SUNDAY — Down Home Cooking Grandma Style + Binge Watching + Retro Family Entertainment + Coffee & Chats

🍳 Down Home Cooking, Grandma Style — THE Big Family Cooking Series — This is the crown jewel. Sunday is when the big cooking happens. The recipes from Granny Dorie and Granny Sherry — the ones that fed generations of this family. Adapted for our budget, adapted gluten-free when Sis visits, cooked in this kitchen with love and controlled chaos. If you love Southern cooking, family recipes, and a kitchen that sounds like a family reunion — Sunday is your day.

📺 Binge Watching — What we binged this week, what we ate while we watched, what channel or streaming service it was on, and whether it’s worth your time. Honest reviews from a family that watches together. This is its OWN post — separate from Retro Family Entertainment.

📺 Retro Family Entertainment or Classic TV Through the Generations — This is a SEPARATE post from Binge Watching. This one goes back — the shows, movies, and music that shaped four generations of this family. From what Granny Dorie watched to what C streams now. Nostalgia, memories, and the entertainment that connects us across decades.

Coffee & Chats — Bear is in his pink office chair with a controller, a notebook, and a pen. Glenda’s got her tea, her tablet, and a blanket over her knees. The door is open. There’s no agenda. This is real talk — what’s on her heart, what happened this week, what’s coming next. Pull up a chair.

🎉 Free weekend events reshared.

💍 COMING SERIES

Charlie and Mikayla’s Love Story from Hobart, Oklahoma to North Richland Hills, Texas — They met online when C was 16. Now they’re engaged at 18. Why would a parent allow their child to get engaged this young? Why let them travel out of state for months to stay with her family? This series covers teen dating, the engagement, the promises they’ve made, the ring review, first jobs and working around love, church and faith, wedding planning on a real budget, and the biggest question — does Mikayla leave her family to come to Texas, or does C stay in Oklahoma? Every parent of a teenager needs this series. Stay tuned.

💐 IT’S MOTHER’S DAY & FATHER’S DAY SEASON

Special content coming for both — because the parents in this house deserve their flowers too.

🎄 BUILDING TOWARD THE CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE

We’re reviewing products all year long — including the game system D wants — so that when the holidays hit, you’ve got a gift guide you can trust. Built by a real family. Not a brand deal.
