Monday Morning: A Fresh Start Filled With Gratitude

The Mommies Reviews

Good Monday morning, friends!

There is something special about the beginning of a new week. Mondays can sometimes feel overwhelming as we look at everything waiting for us — the laundry, the cleaning, the errands, the schedules, and all the little things that make up everyday life. But this morning, I’m choosing to look at Monday a little differently.

Instead of seeing Monday as a day filled with a long list of things to accomplish, I want to see it as a fresh beginning. A chance to slow down, pray over the week ahead, and remember that even the ordinary moments are blessings. Before we rush into our busy routines, I want to take a moment to be thankful. Thankful for another morning. Thankful for family. Thankful for the little reminders that we are never walking through life alone.

My prayer for this Monday is that we remember to invite God into our plans. Whether we are cleaning our homes, preparing meals, working, caring for our families, or simply trying to make it through a busy season, every moment matters and so does everyone in our lives.

I had plans to get up early this morning and get everything done by noon so we could go up to the hospital because David’s dad isn’t responding and he may not be here through the week. I would like to ask you to keep him in your PRAYERs because he isn’t my father in law he is my dad and I love this man more than life itsself.

Dear God,

Thank You for this new week and the opportunities it brings. Help us to approach each day with patience, kindness, and a grateful heart. Guide our decisions, calm our worries, and remind us to notice the blessings hidden in the everyday moments. Help us create homes filled with love, laughter, and memories. Let us be a light to those around us and remember that small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Amen.

As we begin this week, I hope you remember that you don’t have to have everything perfectly planned out. Sometimes the most beautiful moments happen in the middle of the messy, ordinary days. Today, take a moment to breathe, say a prayer, and look for something small to be grateful for. A cup of coffee in the morning, a family conversation, a beautiful sunrise, or simply the gift of another day.

Here’s to a new Monday, a new week, and new opportunities to find joy in the moments God has given us.

Grateful, Thankful, and Blessed

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
