My Recordable Storytime Miracle on 34th Street

I’ am over the moon excited to sit down and read Miracle on 34th Street which is my all time favorite Christmas movie but no the re-make but the movie that has Burl Ives in it.. Do you like Miracle on 34th Street as well? Here is a fun tip about me. I believe the Santa in Miracle on 34th Street is the real Santa Claus. No, matter what anyone else might say. Come join me as I sit down to read My Recordable Storytime Miracle on 34th Street.

This like several other children’s books you will find inside our Christmas Gift Guide 23 is a recordable storybook where you can record a message for the person receiving the book. Like the other books there is a spot to record a message to the person your giving the book to. Can you guess what is happening in the story?

There is a little girl and her mom waiting for The Macy’s Day Parade to begin. Santa is in the Sleigh but he is snoring and the Parade is about to start. It was her moms job to make sure everything went right. She has to fix things before Mr. Sawyer finds out and tells Mr. Macy. What can she do?

A elderly gentleman asked if he could help. She helped him into a Santa contest. he was a perfect Santa. The best they had ever had and to say thank you she decides to invite him to dinner. That night the mom, her daughter a neighbor Fred and the man gathered around the table for Thanksgiving dinner.

The little girls ask the man who he is. He says I am kris Kringle and I knew to help because I am Santa Claus. Can you imagine having dinner with Santa? My mom says there is no, Santa or other make-believe things children believe in. Santa says no Santa and no make-believe? Santa ask if she has played house or read fairy tales and the little girl says no, she hasn’t because she doesn’t believe in them.

Santa lets her know that is what children are all about imagination. The gentlemen ask her how she would like to do things built on her imagination and tells her to come with him and he will teach her how to pretend. They start to play and Santa ask her what she would like for Christmas. The little girls tells Santa nothing.

Then she tells Santa she would like to have a house in the country and a family. Santa let’s her know its a tall order. She tells Santa if she doesn’t get it she will know Santa isn’t real. Kris told her he would do his bet to make it happen. he reminds her that not all children get there wishes but it doesn’t mean he isn’t real. Then he tells her he will do his best to make her wish come true.

her mom let the old man know he did a good job and Mr. Macy would like for him to stay on until Christmas. Fred offers him a place to stay. Fred reminds the mom to have faith which we all should have. Because the mom has to much common sense. Santa goes into the store as Santa. Teh little girl watches him talk to children that are different than her.

The daughter ask the mom how can’t he be Santa after speaking to everyone. The mom says I speak French and that doesn’t make me French Toast . But even she is beginning to wonder if he is Santa. Even thought most people was happy with him not everyone was. Mr. Sawyer did not like having Kris around.

He thought Kris made everyone else look bad. During a busy day at the store Mr. Sawyer said in the middle of the crowd Kris believed he was Santa. The mom saw people were worried and asked Kris to go. Mr. Sawyer tells Kris to have a nice trip back to the North Pole. Fred, the mom and little girls follow him outside.

Fred tells Kris he must go to court but if you lose you will lose your job and children will stop believing in you. The day of court Fred called the Prosecutors son as his first witness. He asked the boy if Santa was real. The little boy said yes, he is real. The judge admitted Santa was real. The judge tells Kris this isn’t enough they need proof Kris is Sants and they have one day to prove it.

He didn’t have proof but them postmen came in with bag after bag of mail for Santa. Instead of sending mail to the North Pole they sent it to New York because it would reach Santa sooner. Kris celebrated on Christmas Day and invited Susan, Fred and the mom to come for dinner and presents.

Susan’s wish wasn’t under the tree and she was upset. They leave to drive home and she kept whispering I believe I believe. Then she saw the house eof her dreams. They stopped the car and Fred and her mom followed her inside the house. Fred had his arm around her mom and Susan could see her dream coming true.
