Farmers Branch Aquatic Center Outdoor Waterpark, & Indoor Natatorium

Charlie, David and I were able to visit Farmers Branch Aquatic Center Outdoor Waterpark, & Indoor Natatorium this weekend and I was excited because we haven’t been to Farmers Branch before. On Saturday morning after picking up Aiden to come with us so Charlie would have someone to play with we begin our journey to Farmers Branch Aquatic Center Outdoor Waterpark, & Indoor Natatorium.

I wish you could have seen Charlie’s and Aiden’s faces when we pulled up to Farmers Branch Aquatic Center Outdoor Waterpark, & Indoor Natatorium and they were amazed at all there was to do and if the truth is none I was as well.

There was a park full of playground equipment for children of all ages the to play on. Both Aiden and Charlie liked all the playground equipment they were able to try out and I was even able to play with Charlie.

I liked the Statue they had inside the park with a child reading a book and I would have liked to get my book out and sit and read while the boys played on the playground. My family believes the playground think this would be the perfect place for a Picnic lunch because there were lots of sunny places to sit and relax including under the trees all around. Throughout the facility, you would see the statues turning this into the perfect place for families to visit.

We went on around Farmers Branch Aquatic Center Outdoor Waterpark, & Indoor Natatorium parking lot and parked when I heard Charlie say, mom, look… I thought he was talking about the slides and things I saw in the Water Park but he wasn’t. Charlie had discovered the Skate Park next to the building.

Charlie asked me why I hadn’t mentioned this as he could have brought his Skate Board and I had to admit to Charlie I hadn’t researched the park to find out what all was there and he hadn’t either. We both learned the next time we plan on going someplace new to check out their website and to make a checklist off all we want to do so we know what to bring with us.

Which is fine with my family because we all can’t wait to come back to Farmers Branch Aquatic Center Outdoor Waterpark, & Indoor Natatorium and play as well as check out a new City. I have a question for you have you been to Farmers Branch and if so what do you think we should visit when there? Where should we have lunch?

In the meantime, Charlie and Aiden loved the outside Water Park and had so much fun that they haven’t stopped talking about returning as soon as possible. For me and David, we enjoyed taking the boys inside indoor Natatorium and watching them practice there laps as both of them are learning to Swim and it was nice seeing them get across the pool without any help from the Life Guards.

Charlie and Aiden ended up hungry before we left the park so it was nice seeing a Concession stand that had items for every member of the family. As well as a Gift Shop where we could purchase towels and sunglasses as I had left mine at home.

We finished playing we had everyone change out of there swimsuits so the new car wouldn’t get wet and David and I used the dryers they provide to dry out our swimsuits and I was able to use the Blow Dryer to fix my hair because we needed to stop for lunch and then we were heading to Farmers Branch Farmers Market which we found out about from a sign in the Lobby.

If Charlie’s Birthday was in the Summer I would have liked to host his Birthday party at Farmers Branch Aquatic Center Outdoor Waterpark, & Indoor Natatorium because there is something for every age that would keep children entertained all day and the parents wouldn’t hear I am bored and they would be able to play with there children.

I would like to invite you to come and join my family the next time we visit Farmers Branch Aquatic Center Outdoor Waterpark, & Indoor Natatorium, we can swim, work out or just lay out in the pool they have for us as there is a tanning ledge. Although you will find me in the Lap Pool with the Frogs and it was just long enough for me to walk in that I didn’t get tired and there wasn’t anything for me to trip over like in other pools we have tried to walk in.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie, and David Cates

  1. It sounds like you had a great time at the water park. It does seem like it has something for everyone and you could do your laps while the kids go on the slides.

    1. Yes, we were able to and didn’t have to worry about the children as I could tell they would be safe and I didn’t have to worry about them while they did their own things.

  2. Oh that looks like so much fun! My kids love any kind of water park although we don’t have many outdoor ones round here because the weather is always so bad!

    1. We have a lot here and it is hard to choose which one to go to and no, matter how many I plan on visiting in the Summer we never seem to make it to them all before they shut down for the year.

    1. For my family Terri it is a must do anytime the parks are open and here they will be closing soon which I hate and wish they stayed open year round.

Waterparks can be a great place to cool off on a hot day. I like the ida of the family being able to be out on the playground together.

    1. That was one of my favorite parts of our visit to the Water Park seeing the boys climb and play together the way I did as a child.

  4. What fun! I wish we had something like this close by, it would be a real treat to head over for some fun!

  5. My kids are all about swimming and I’m sure they would love this place. It’s nice to find a good place to go swimming like this!
