I have the perfect addition to our Christmas Gift Guide 2025: Pomp Snow & Cirqueumstance by Holidays All Year by Niko Nickolauo, Neil Goldberg, Illustrated by John Kelly which I received a copy of the book in exchange for this review.
I’ve always been intrigued with anything to do with the Circus and Jesters and couldn’t wait to sit down and read Pomp Snow & Cirqueumstance by Holidays All Year. Like my Uncle Chuck I believe #Holiday should be celebrated year-round. What about you?
Before I share my thoughts on the book with you I wanted to let you know this is a Telly Show that has won lots of awards. The book and the characters have been featured on Good Morning, America, Fox & Friends and has won multiple book awards.
In the book we meet three friendly sprites who have come to the end of December after saving one Holiday. They contact FESTIVA for her insight and we find out her mother is NATURE and her father is TIME. FESTIVA brings wisdom and Knowlege sublime.
We meet POMP who proclaims he will take New Years! He fills the sky, so everyone is impressed making the night a success. Next is Lunar New Year, and its Snow’s time to shine. Then celebrations begin to subside.
St. Pat’s and Carnival, POMP who is dressed all in purple gets pinched because he forgot to wear green. CIRQUEumstance knows Passover is near and he fips and tumbles but nothing seems to matter. The Trio are in a bind.
Dont worry FESTINA comes in to help. She turns the clock back so they can began again. Lunar New Year begins. Passover is a pinch thanks to CIRQUEiunstance help. POMP, makes St. Pat’s free from a pinch. Now it’s Easter Sunday with Eggs primed to roll POMP, SNOW, and CIRQUEumstance have a goal to entertain all day with melodies, bunnies and bouquets. Doesn’t that sound like a lot of fun?

In the end there wasn’t three but four to help us out. They all join hands as they prepare for new adventures in the New Year. This is the perfect book for children of all ages and adults as well will enjoy the story.
