Spring Break at the Nasher is ON!

Spring Break may be almost over for most of us. But I would like to remind you Spring Break at the Nasher is ON! Come on out for sun before the kiddos return to school

What:  Spring Break at the Nasher is nearly here! Enjoy a week of FREE programing with activities ranging from painting, sketching and dancing, allowing kids to learn about and explore the various mediums art has to offer.

When: Tuesday, March 17 – Sunday, March 22, 2020, 11a.m.- 5 p.m.

Where: Nasher Sculpture Center, 2001 Flora Street Dallas, TX 75201

Details: The Nasher will offer activities throughout the week for people of all ages, from workshops with guest artists to storytime with Dallas Public Library.

Activities with guest artists include:

  • Plein Air Painting with Sherry Houpt (March 17 & 19, 11AM – 1PM)
  • Demolition Library with Lisa Huffaker (March 17 & 19, 1 – 3PM)
  • Personal 3D Sculptures with Natalie Macellaio (March 17 & 19, 1 – 3PM)
  • Sketching with Joel Murray (March 18 & 20, 11AM – 1PM)
  • Yarn paintings by Carolyn Marco (March 18 & 20, 1 – 3PM)
  • Noodle weavings by Chesley Antoinette (March 18 & 20, 1 – 3PM)

The Nasher also offers interactive activities like Ballet Basics with Amanda Dalton School of Dance, and a music set performed by DJ Sudie.

Your health and safety is important to us. The Nasher is staying up to date with the latest COVID-19 updates is following prevention recommendations for maintaining a clean, healthy environment. This includes routine sanitation of doors, handrails and other high-touch areas of the museum.
