The ABCs of Asian American History: A Celebration from A to Z of All Asian Americans, from Bangladeshi Americans to Vietnamese Americans by Renee Macalino Rutledge and Illustrated by Lauren Akazawa Mendez

In our Homeschool I want to include different Countries and their traditions and to help us get started on our journey I added The ABCs of Asian American History: A Celebration from A to Z of All Asian Americans, from Bangladeshi Americans to Vietnamese Americans to our Homeschool Library.

Charlie and I will be reading The ABCs of Asian American History: A Celebration from A to Z of All Asian Americans, from Bangladeshi Americans to Vietnamese Americans then sharing this children’s book with my nieces and nephews. I let Charlie know I would like to get the kids together to see what everyone learned from the book.

David liked knowing The ABCs of Asian American History: A Celebration from A to Z of All Asian Americans, from Bangladeshi Americans to Vietnamese Americans is based on the ABC’s. David believes we should study one letter a day for a month. At the end of the month, we would share things we learned on our own about each letter in a report Charlie will read aloud to us. Would you like to join us for our class?

There were people inside the book that I hadn’t heard about which Charlie said will be fun to research. Then we can learn more about them while creating new lesson plans for us to use in our classroom. Have you heard of Mindy Kaling or Nathan Chen? If so, is there anything you know about them you can share with me?

A is for Athletic and in PE Charlie and I can study Vickie Manalo Draves who won gold. I love how in the letter b we learn about books Charlie can check into for our reading class. In the back of the book is a glossary Charlie and I will be using in our studies. Charlie would like to invite you to study the zodiac with us which is letter Z.
