Tonight’s What Are You Reading Now, Mom is a tad bit different I’m combining it with a cozy 8 PM Check‑In
Every night around 8 PM, I settle in with my book — and without fail, C walks by and asks:
“Mom… what are you reading now?”
Apparently, I’m a one‑woman book club.

Yes, I had a tiny splash of juice‑tequila. Yes, I’m still a Christian. If Jesus can turn water into wine, I can turn juice into “Mom needs five minutes.” Just don’t tell Charlie he frowns when I drink and that is why he can only see my Sweet Tea.
But I’m a mom if dad can drink with no, eye rolls why can’t mom?
